Abstract

The bait has a blank cut in a material sheet to represent a body and fish hooks (C1, C2), which are folded by torsion at their junctions with the body. The hooks are integrated in an envelope line of the body. A hole at an end of the body permits the fixation of a dragging wire. Two rectangular offsets (r1, r2) situated on both sides of a longitudinal edge corresponding to an original axis of the blank are raised on 3 of their 4 sides.

Description

The present invention relates to a specificity applied to baits of

  various forms, specificity residing in the production of monoblocked baits by the simultaneous manufacture of the hook part (s) and the body part.

  The baits for trolling or edge fishing have various shapes and are made of various materials. Only single or multiple hooks are made from so-called springs son having undergone heat and electroplating treatments. These hooks are filled with attractive tricks, or when they are multiple connected to the bait bodies such as spoons and swimmers, through a broken ring mounted in their rear part. In the latter two cases, it is almost always triple hooks that equip them.

  The long hooks of the prior art, straight, curved or wavy are made attractive when they are partially or completely covered with flexible tubes of colors, feathers natural or not, shiny filaments making them look like fish type eel, elver, sandeel for example.

  The brilliance of the artifices attracts the prey which assimilates them to sardines or carpenters among others.

  These hooks are only made from steel wire.

  The artificial spoons known to date require the assembly of the triple hook with a spoon by means of a broken ring for example.

  When the triple hook is oxidized or broken, it should be replaced. The baits called fish swimmers, also equipped with one or more multiple hooks (double or triple) suffer the same disadvantages added to the fact that their colors tarnish or disappear quickly enough losing lures their attractiveness.

  In the cases mentioned above, resulting from the prior art, multiple hooks are not made of stainless steel wire for technical reasons.

  US Patent 3,755,954 provides for the pivoting of a portion of a partially modified section hook.

  EPO 127567A1 is characterized by its provisions relating to wire hooks favoring profitability in terms of probability of catch.

  Patent FR 2552973 puts in exerbe a system of arming-trigger functioning by intervention of a prey (preferably) presents only this only interest even if the section of the metal composing the branches in the text of the abstract does not seem circular.

  Patent EP 01 99 157 A1 marks its originality only by its passage from the round section to a longitudinally beveled section in its single tip.

  Patents with a non-circular hook section are intended: as regards patent FR 2607664: the cutting of plants by an inner form of the hook curve in total opposition to the claims of this patent and in particular in claim 10; for the patent WO 97/14303: the removal and replacement of the barb traditionally formed by a shape of the tip borrowing its flattening and that of its near area, the remainder of the hook retaining its circular section.

  The present invention aims to provide artificial baits whose body and hooks are in one piece (or monobloc) because cut at the same time. The resulting shape of this cut is called blank in the present text.

  A bait derived from the present invention is made from a strip or sheet of a material having a clean elasticity and elastic characteristics resulting or not from appropriate treatments such as heat treatments for example.

  By way of example of suitable materials, mention may be made of ferrous or non-ferrous alloys, alloy and non-alloy steels, certain plastics derivatives, certain synthetic materials, certain metal composites, certain ceramics, carbon fibers and nanostructures, and certain alloys. with shape memories and generally all reinforced matrices.

  The present invention thus relates to cutting and shaping cut blanks in a strip or sheet, which blanks have the flat form hook hook (s) and a body adjoining the (s) extending. The shape of this blank being related to the final shape of the bait that is intended for it From the cut plane (in the sheet or strip) is formed the blank, mainly of revolution to offer the least resistance in traction in the 'water; of triangular or oval shape, ovoid, of elongated shape such as that of a fish, obtained by rolling, bending, bending, bending, twisting and transverse or (and) longitudinal corrugations, locally or totally.

  The realization of a hook bait guided in the body of the spoon has an advantageous variant. The body of the spoon is split in the middle for a length to introduce the hook which will then be folded and returned by torsion under the body to bring its position perpendicular to the body and below it.

  The sides of the body on each side of the slot will be curved, twisted, corrugated longitudinally or transversely to give the bait greater mobility.

  According to another characteristic, the creation of a pair or a plurality of hooks is the result of the cutting of flat shapes of hooks possibly presenting back to back, offset, contiguous with respect to the longitudinal axis xx ' , in the blank making an angulation with the body from 20 to 45.

  The orientation of the hooks is related to the angle that we want to give them in relation to the remaining part of the bait, the folding of the hooks unitarily or in pairs is made on the same side or on both sides from the body.

  Whatever their odd or even number, occurring in pairs or not, the folding of the hooks is performed on the same side or on both sides of the body, in a manner that is symmetrical or not with respect to the axis xx '.

  The invention therefore includes the creation of a double hook, one of which would be an extension of the other; their cutting in the sheet or strip may provide them oriented differently than back to back and offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction. It follows the forming the possibility of presenting them unsymmetrically with respect to the generatrix separating their backs.

  According to an extrapolation of this feature, a triple hook will present for example a double hook consisting of two hooks cut back to back then folded and oriented along the generatrix serving as a folding axis. A third fishhook cut under the double hook in the blank will also be oriented by folding. The angles formed by the hooks each relative to the others may be equal or not.

  Advantageously, a bait of the present invention comprises a quadruple hook. To do this the flan will present two pairs of hooks one behind the other and far enough apart to avoid contact during folding. Hooks will be back to back, their shapes may be similar or not.

  The back pair will be folded back parallel to the front pair above the latter and the two pairs are pressed one on the other. Finally, each hook will be raised with respect to the plane of contact of the pairs and this, of the desired angular value.

  Bait will be developed according to another feature that creates a number of hooks or double hooks limited by the importance that will be given to the dimensions of the bait. A bait has 3 or 4 pairs of hooks cut back to back for each of them. The variable or identical dimensions and their orientation make it possible to limit the length of the remaining body, the brilliance of the hooks and the zone separating them is sufficient to make the whole attractive.

  Another feature of the invention lies in the cutting hooks not at the periphery of the body of the bait but integrated in the envelope line of the body without creating significant growth. This characteristic is very advantageous in the forms of baits that can be obtained after forming thereof, but also and especially in the material gain it generates. Hooks are after cutting, raised, folded, twisted or undergo other deformations. The material of the remaining blank is modified or not according to the final form of the bait which one wishes to obtain.

  The hooks of long type or so-called long are cut in a strip or sheet. The part, called body, in the extension of the hook, is rolled to receive an artifice encompassing it completely or not. Folded or rolled ovoid on itself or left flat the body part is preferably longitudinally corrugated to give the bait wavy or disordered movements like those of some fish.

  Depending on their shape and surface, long hooks are like long spoons.   One characteristic is the presence of redans, open scales, punctured and tongues cut on 2 or 3 sides then raised to project them in relation to their original plan. All these forms are emerging from the blank before and after its forming, as well as straight slots, curves, orifices of various shapes cut.

  The so-called common spoons will benefit from the present invention while maintaining their function which is improved through various forms obtained through the integration of the hooks into the bait blank. In its embodiment with a hook, the spoon after its cutting is provided with 2 holes in its middle in the axis of its body which will be superimposed after folding at an equal distance of their axes.

  After this folding, the hook is straightened and placed vertically in relation to the plane of the body; the upper stop of the hook is then in contact with the underside of the body or very close to it. As for each of the hooks entering the various baits of the invention, stiffening zones and cutting edge protection (s) will be provided with tabs folded if necessary.

  For all the baits described, the traction during the fishing action is carried out by wire, cable or other, attached directly or through a hole or interposing a connecting device including a ring or a pin.

  The present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the attached drawings, sketches and diagrams which show the particular embodiments of the baits resulting from the present invention.

  The said embodiments are given by way of illustration and can not limit the scope of the invention in the accompanying drawings and drawings illustrating the invention: FIG. 1 shows the shape after cutting in a blank of a single hook .

  Figure 1 shows the shape of a hook cut in a strip or sheet of material. The zone (Co) called curve in conventional hooks has a zone (a) swollen outwardly and intended to stiffen the curvature by folding on itself. It also has a zone (b) swollen inwardly of the hook to be folded on itself to avoid damaging the catch. As for other figures, the hook was deliberately cut around its base by 2 parallel fine parallel lines.

  Figure 2 shows the shape of a hook of the type of that of Figure 1 after folding the areas (a) and (b) on themselves same side of the face of the hook. This representation will be found in other figures.

  The angular position of the hooks relative to each other is only one example of all the possible positions that can be adopted between hooks of the same pair, one pair with respect to the other and one hook taken individually. compared to any of the other 3.

  Figure 11 shows a blank after cutting in a strip or sheet.   The progressive size of the paired hooks allows to triple in principle the chances of taking a prey.

  Figures 11a and 11b show end positions relative hooks 20 relative to each other, they are only 2 examples among the countless possible positions.

  These positions are obtained by folding each hook at the location of its connection to the body (p) accepting a twist in relation to the desired position. The representations of these figures are schematized.

  Figure 12 shows the cut blank in which a strip of material of small width but allowing rolling on itself in the longitudinal direction. This band ends with a hook; at the opposite end, a hole (t) on the axis xx 'of the assembly allows the fixing of the fishing line.

  FIG. 13 represents a so-called long hook resulting from the longitudinal winding on itself of the band constituting the blank outside the hook, that is to say in the zone (L). the hook is shown with a small zone (a) rigidification folded on itself.A hole (t) at its end affixed to the hook was made in a half-circular protrusion of the blank.

  Figure 21 shows a simple spoon composed of a body (p) curved transversely over its entire length, followed by a folded hook perpendicular to the plane of the initial blank in the axis xx '.

  FIG. 22 represents a spoon made from the blank of FIG. 20. a fold at 180 has been made at the point (u) equidistant from the holes (t1) and (t2) and also situated on the axis xx .

  Hooks (C 1) and (C2) were twisted on themselves by making them twist as close as possible to their respective junction (u) with respect to each other. Their torsion angle was made so that the final angular position of an evening hook was about 90 relative to the second hook. The angle of each hook relative to the plane (p) will be approximately 45.

  Figure 32 shows a blank cut from a sheet or strip of material. It comprises the hooks (C 1), (C2), (C3), (C4) non-emerging relative to the body (p), their respective points being directed towards the inside thereof and not towards the outside. The contours of the body are rounded in several places conferring a substantially oval shaped pear-shaped.

  The tip of the 4 hooks is directed towards one end of the body having an outgrowth in which a hole (t) makes it possible to hang a fishing line.

  FIG. 33 shows a profile along AA 'the blank shown in FIG. 32 after having raised the hooks (C1) and (C2) by 90 relative to the plane of the blank and lowered by 90 relative to the same plane of the hooks (C3) and (C4).

  Figure 34 shows a blank cut from a sheet or strip of material. It includes 4 hooks (Cl), (C2), (C3), (C4) non-emerging and little different from the maximum width of the body (p).

  The tip of the 4 hooks is directed to one end of the body having a hole (t) for securing the fishing line. The identical hooks (C1) and (C2) are presented back to back with respect to the horizontal axis xx 'passing through the body of the blank.   FIG. 35 shows, according to A, the bait formed by the body (p) of hooks (C 1) and (C 2) raised by twisting by 90 at the point (u) to present them in a longitudinal direction with respect to the axis xx then they are separated from each other to form an angle a such that al = a2.

  Hooks (C3) and (C4) are lowered by folding and twisting combined to be substantially perpendicular to the body (p).

Claims (2)

16 CLAIMS   1-bait monoblock characterized in that it is made of a material in the form of sheet or rigid strip whose cut blank consists of a body and at least one hook.   2- bait according to claim 1 characterized in that the body shape is 5 partially or completely folded, twisted, curved, coiled or waved or jointly in its transverse and longitudinal direction.   3- bait -dit spoon- according to claims 1 and 2 characterized in that the body is followed by a hook which is bent by twisting at its junction with the body of about 90.   to 4- A bait according to claims 1, 2, 3 characterized in that the body of the spoon is split in the middle on a length allowing the introduction of the hook which will then be bent by twisting under the body to bring its position perpendicular to the body and below it.   5- bait according to claims 1 to 4 characterized in that a pair or a plurality of pairs of hooks is the result of cutting flat shapes of hooks back to back staggered or not, contiguous or not by relative to the longitudinal axis xx 'in the blank.   6- bait according to claims 1 to 5 characterized in that the shape given to the blank is intended to achieve the shape of the body which must offer the least resistance when it is pulled into the water and be the most attractive for prey . The resulting shape of folding (s), twisting (s), curving (s), bending (s), waviness (s), local or partial, transversely and (or) longitudinally will be triangular, ovoid, volume-shaped elongated and more generally in the form of prey, fish for example.   7- bait according to claims 1,2,3,5 characterized in that the blank is wound around the axis xx 'partially or completely; of rectangular shape for example, it generates a tubular body (non-exhaustive) whose section may be round but ovoid, elliptical or more generally convex or elongated having 2 axes.   The mobility of such bodies is increased by transverse corrugations. These forms of bait referred to as long hooks or long spoons will generally be terminated by at least one hook positioned angularly with respect to the axis xx '.   8- bait according to claims 1 to 7 characterized in that the blank is cut at the same time as are redans, scales, punctured, tongues cut on 2 or 3 on their sides, then raised to project them by compared to their original plan. Various other forms in addition to those mentioned above such as slots, orifices, such as tabs, curves or straight lines removed from the blank increase the mobility and attractiveness of the bait.   9- bait according to claims 1 to 8 characterized in that the principle of traction during the fishing action is the attachment of a wire, cable or other attached to a hole directly or via a device binding including a ring or a pin.   10- bait according to claims 1 to 9 characterized in that the hook (or hooks) is (or are) provided (s) of stiffening attributes in the flexion-torsion vulnerable zones represented by the curve (CO ) and more cutting for the area inside the curve. The stiffening is done by folding 180 small growths (a) and (b) provided on each side of the curve (CO), this doubling the thickness of the metal.
