Abstract

The brake consists of a metal bar (2) with a forked end that fits over the grinding wheel retaining ring nut (6), and four springs (1) fitted onto the existing clutch housing retaining bolts. The present invention relates to a device for immediately stopping the disc of the grinder. This device designed for safety helps to protect themselves and of course to avoid hurting themselves or damaging everything around when it can not be stopped.

  This device with its new security of public utility will be appreciated by all users, professionals and others; it will be enough just to put a pression on the lever which serves as a brake which disengages it and blocks the disk INSTANTLY and stops the motor of the grinder.

  The device is composed of four springs, to disengage the gear of the engine, thanks to a lever being located under the washer and the bolt which holds the disk of the grinder; the lever acting as a brake is composed of a metal piece measuring 18 cm for the immediate stop of the disc with at the end a switch to break the motor and lock the disc net simultaneously.
