Abstract

The board has an electric supply cable (11) connected to an autonomous supply source (17) e.g. battery, and to the board. Description

This concerns an equipped panel, for information or decorative purposes, to

  fix (or fix) to a support, in particular a partition.

  It has indeed been noted that there is currently no truly effective means for ensuring proper lighting of these panels.

  Among the aims here, we can note, as of now, the search for a lighting solution that fulfills all or some of the following objectives: savings in terms of cost of manufacture or implementation, technical performance in terms of intensity and / or illuminated surface, and / or occupied space, discretion, adaptation to the constraints of the profiles or framing moldings of the panels concerned.

  It is in this spirit that it is proposed that the imagined equipped panel is particularly characterized in that it comprises, as equipment: - an electric cable adapted to be connected to a power source at least one light source, the cable and the light sources being linked to the panel to illuminate, the light sources are a priori concealed, especially behind a wall of a molding or a framing profile .

  Preferably these light sources will include, or consist of, light emitting diodes (LEDs).

  An LED (light emitting diode / light emitting diode) is a semiconductor that emits visible light when an electric current passes through it.

  All LEDs emit a monochromatic color. The color of the light is associated with the wavelength. LEDs are made with different semiconductor materials. The wavelength of the visible-light LEDs typically ranges from 400 nm (blue) to 800 nm (red). White LEDs typically require 3.6V DC (Direct Current) and use approximately 30 mA of current, with a current dissipation of 100 mW. The positive current is sent to one side of the semiconductor of the LED. The other side of the semiconductor is attached to the cathode, negative current.

  Preferably, to facilitate the implementation of the diodes, both in terms of installation on the panel and withdrawal vis-à-vis it, for example for a diode change if it must be replaced, advises that the panel is bordered by a molding or a peripheral frame profile and that the diodes are, all or in groups, fixed to the panel, via at least one support means common to at least some of the diodes and linked to the molding or the profile.

  To promote discretion and security, it is further advised that the diodes illuminate the panel through at least one slot.

  For the same reasons, and for an integration of the diodes for example for an elegant and discreet lighting of paintings such as a painting table, it is advised that one or more slots or openings of lighting of the panel or table are formed in the molding or profile.

  Again for ease of implementation (engagement / removal), it is advised that at least some of the diodes are attached to the panel through at least one plate slidably connected to the panel.

  In other words, it can be advised that the plate (s) slide (s) in slides formed in a molding or profile bordering a central portion of the panel.

  Concealing the diodes behind a wall traversed by at least one opening through which the light from the light sources passes is also favorable to efficient and discreet lighting.

  In the context of using a molding or profile in relief with respect to a surface of the panel to be illuminated, it is also recommended that this lighting be located at the location of this molding or this section, in height relative to said surface.

  At least in certain lighting situations, requiring a relatively high power or illumination intensity, it is further recommended to overlap the beams of several diodes.

  From the foregoing it will have been understood that in particular here concerned a framed picture, particularly for domestic use, to be fixed to the wall, as well as a molding or a profile for framing a panel as aforesaid, this molding or this The profile is therefore preferably equipped with (e) light-emitting diodes, which will advantageously be placed in a hollow interior space of the molding or profile, behind a wall through which at least one opening where the lighting light will then pass.

FIG. 2 shows that the panel 1 has, on its rear face, a fixing means, such as a ring 3, adapted to be here detachably attached to a complementary means 5, here a hook fixed to a support 7, here a partition or a wall.

  The panel 1 is therefore intended to be placed against a wall to dress, decorate or simply to be highlighted, the panel can be covered on its exposed face lb, by a painting or drawing. The panel could however carry information or data, for example to serve as a signpost or information.

  In the illustration of Figure 1, we will call the panel 1 as a whole.

  To ensure the illumination of the paint which is assumed to cover the visible front face lb, this table 1 is here equipped with several light-emitting diodes shown diagrammatically at 9, these diodes being fed by an electric cable marked 11 in FIG.

  This support means, which holds together and is common to at least some of the diodes, is adapted to be fixed, preferably removably, to the panel 1 and preferably to the molding or profile 15 which borders on its outer periphery, in Figure 1.

  This support means 21, or each such means, will advantageously be in the form of a plate, as in FIG. 3, elongate along a main elongation direction 21a and along which a series of diodes 9 will advantageously be arranged. as illustrated.

  These diodes may in particular be aligned in one and the same line and then be interconnected by the wiring 11. This wiring may define a serial wiring, or, at least locally, a parallel wiring, depending on whether one wishes to ensure illumination of all the diodes when the on-off switch 23 is in the on state, or otherwise it is desired to operate only some of the diodes, as needed.

  On the support panel 21, the two traditional rear lugs for connecting the light-emitting diodes may be tightly engaged through small orifices passing through the plate, the diodes being thus able to be held in place in its orifices by welding, gluing or any appropriate means compatible with their electrical connection to the cable 11.

  Rather than having the light-emitting diodes 9 outside, particularly in a manner visible to a person facing the front surface lb of the table, it is preferred that the diodes 9 illuminate this panel or table through one or more slots 25 and 27 in FIGS. 4 and 5.

  Slit means here any orifice more or less elongated through which the light of a light source can pass to provide an appropriate amount of light on the front face of the panel 1 to illuminate.

  In FIG. 4, it is a continuous slot, elongated parallel to the direction 29a of the section 29 in which the diodes have been placed, on their support plate 21, whereas in FIG. a series of orifices 27 also arranged substantially parallel to the elongation direction 31a of the section 31 illustrated.   Advantageously, the support means 21, in particular if it is an elongated plate as in FIG. 3, will be slidably mounted on the panel 1, and particularly on the profile or molding framing this table, as it has been illustrated in the case of sections 29 and 31 in FIGS. 4 and 5.

  In FIG. 4, this sliding assembly is effected by means of a longitudinal slot 33 which the profile 29 has in parallel with its elongation direction 29a and in which a tab 35 of the plate 21 is engaged, this sufficiently closely to be restrained unless you pull on it to remove it from the profile.

  Thus, each section or molding will have an interior space, such as 290 or 310 in FIGS. 4 and 5, adapted to receive the light-emitting diodes 9, and advantageously the plate or plates carrying them, so that the whole can be retained there, with preferably an orientation of the diodes 9 towards the lighting slots 25 or 27.

  This space, such as 290 or 310, reserved for the diodes 9 can also be a hollow housing in a traditional frame, such as a wooden frame or stucco, different from the metal section 29 or 31 of Figures 4 and 5 .

  In this reserved space, if the wafer 21 of FIG. 3 does not hold, since it is not slipped in a slot or in retaining slides such as 33, it is possible for this wafer to be elastically flexible so as to hold elastically, under stress, as in Figure 5 where it is curved transversely to its elongation direction and wedged against the inner profile of the profile portion 31 which essentially defines the space 310, the diodes 9 remaining oriented towards the lighting holes 27 as indicated by arrows 37.

  At the front of the hollow space and the external profile which surrounds it, which gives the general appearance of functionality and aesthetics to the profile (here more square, with sharp angles, in Figure 4, and on the contrary more rounded in FIG. 5), each profile such as 29 or 31 is extended by front wings, such as 39a, 39b and 39c for the profile 29.

  The upper flange 39a which will come opposite the support plate 13 of the painting in FIG. 4 hides the pierced partition 45 at the sight of the one looking at the molding, the profile or, more generally, the panel or table. frontally substantially along the arrow 43 (see same arrow with the same reference in Figure 2).

  The protruding wings 39b and 39c, respectively, hold the outer peripheral edge 13a of the fabric or support panel 13 closely together.

  Optionally, by replacing all or part of the light-emitting diodes 9, it could hide behind a camouflage wall frame, table or panel to illuminate, at least a very thin lamp or fluorescent tube or neon, or a lighting wire, this particularly if this lamp or tube and its power supply wiring (including preferably the electricity generator) are concealed in the profile or the frame molding, as in the solution of FIGS. 4 and 5 .

  Optionally still, replacing electroluminescent diodes, it was thought of one or more optical fibers, without however find a priori all the advantages of said diodes.

  In the foregoing, it will be noted the interest of autonomy of supply of lighting sources, the presence of battery (s) easy (s) to embark for example in a hollow space of the molding facilitating the versatility of uses.
