Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a transport pallet comprising a

  loading tray and a plurality of feet under the loading tray.

  The invention will find its application for the transport and storage of various objects and materials including forklifts, shelving on racks, etc ...

  Various structures of transport pallets are already known.

  Thus, document FR-A-2 815 606 shows a pallet with nine feet and a loading base.

  The loading base has a specific mesh to form a regular honeycomb system over its entire surface.

  EP-A-1 219 543 also shows a pallet structure with a regular mesh throughout the base.

  This type of structure does not take into account variations in the location of stresses according to the different loadings likely to solicit the pallet.

  As a result, it appears that the current pallet structures are not optimized in terms of mechanical strength, which generally induces oversizing of the basic structure of the pallet and therefore significant overweight.

  There is a current need to adapt the structure of the base of the pallet so as to adjust it as closely as possible according to the levels of constraints and the nature of the stresses exerted on its different zones.

  To achieve this, the present invention relates to a transport pallet comprising a loading plate and nine feet protruding from the underside of the loading tray, the loading tray having a perforated structure of cells.

  The cell structure comprises: for each zone circumscribed by a group of four adjacent feet, a central portion of rectangular cells whose walls are oriented in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the loading tray.

  Intermediate portions of triangular cells located between each pair of adjacent feet in the transverse direction of the loading tray.

  Such a structure has the advantage of having increased strength in some places by ensuring sufficient rigidity in preferred bending deformation directions.

  In doing so, the ratio strength / weight is optimal because the mechanical reinforcements are placed at best without superfluous solid element.

  Thus, the intermediate portions of triangular cells make it possible to meet a demand for high rigidity in these zones, especially if the loading is poorly centered on the pallet or if an operator is walking on the surface of the plate.

  At the same time, rectangular cells are positioned on other zones to respond to significant stresses of the pallet, particularly in bending. In these areas, good rigidity is preserved in both the longitudinal direction and the transverse direction of the pallet.

  The present invention therefore offers an excellent compromise between rigidity and weight of the assembly.

  In particular, it has been noted, surprisingly, that rectangular cell areas provided satisfactory mechanical strength in these areas while having a fairly large size, and therefore a limited weight.

  In the case of the example, the cells (8) of the zones (11a, 11b, 11c, 11d) are square.

  By this type of cells, good flexural rigidity in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the pallet is preserved.

  In combination, transverse intermediate portions (12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, 12e, 12f) are made between each of the feet (2, 3) in a transverse direction with cavities of the triangular type (10) as it appears in particular in Figures 2 and 4.

  The triangular cells (10) have two sides respectively oriented in the transverse and longitudinal direction of the pallet, and a transverse hypotenuse to stiffen the assembly in the three directions.

  In this way, the rigidity is increased in these areas, especially in the case where the load is poorly centered on the pallet or if an operator would walk on this surface.

  By way of preference, other honeycomb areas are also formed in a specific manner.

  In particular, longitudinal intermediate portions (13a, 13b, 13c, 13d) present between two successive feet in the longitudinal direction of the plate (1) are formed with cells of a rectangular type of section smaller than that of the central portions (11). a, 11b, 11c, 11d).

  These zones are thus reinforced by reducing the pitch of the constituent ribs of the cells to be able to support the weight of an operator walking on the pallet and to withstand the impact of pallet trucks.

  For the resumption of efforts caused at each of the feet (2, 3) the plate (1) further advantageously comprises a border (16) made in a full manner at the connection of the feet (2, 3).

  The periphery of the feet (2, 3) is moreover advantageously subject to a larger ribbing at the cells to stiffen the assembly at this level.

  In this way, the peripheral zone of the plate (1) is reinforced, particularly with respect to dynamic stresses and the inclination of the ribs (15) ensures guidance of the forks of pallet trucks under the plate.

  The feet (2, 3) advantageously have a side wall (14) with a corrugated profile to ensure better impact resistance, this shape allowing better absorption of energy and better resistance to crushing buckling.

  The rigidity in a vertical direction of stress is indeed improved.

  In addition, the side walls (14) in this way comprise no sharp angle that could be fragile to shocks.

  Better guidance of pallet truck forks is also produced.

  Depending on the type of use, the pallet may comprise insoles each reported by three peripheral feet (2) on the entire pallet.

  Preferably, the flanges (4) also have a ribbed structure, so as to improve their rigidity while being hollow.
