Abstract

The procedure, using rubber from used pneumatic tyres, consists of reducing the rubber to a powder with a grain size of 150-500 mu m, putting it into a mold and heating in two stages. In the first stage the temperature inside the mold is raised to 50-90 [deg]C. In a second stage the temperature inside the mold is raised to 90-170 [deg]C, and the pressure is maintained at an appropriate level.
