Abstract

The device has an inverse U-shaped hanger (4) extending vertically from a top edge of a basic frame (2) to the top of the device. The hanger is bent outwards of the device and then towards the bottom of the device to fix the device on an edge of a glass (5). A base of the hanger is divided into two parts by a partition extending from the base towards the bottom whose length is less than the depth of the hanger.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for fixing a towel

table on the edge of a glass.

  In the field of the art of the table, it is known to arrange the napkins according to certain folds near the glasses or inside thereof. In some cases, when many cutlery and accessories are placed on the table, it may be advantageous to arrange the napkins vertically, in order to save space on the table, while maintaining an aesthetic appearance of napkins, and more generally, cover.

  The present invention meets the need described above with a device for fixing a napkin on the edge of a glass.

  More particularly, the invention resides in the fact that the adjusting device comprises a loop inside which can be arranged a napkin, and a hook shaped "U" inverted, extending substantially vertically upwards the device from an edge of the passer, the hook being bent outwardly of the device and downwardly thereof, so as to fix said device on the edge of the glass.

  Advantageously, the bottom of the hook is divided into two parts by a partition extending from the bottom of the hook, downwards, whose length is less than the depth of the hook. In this way, it is possible to fix the device on the edge of glasses having different radii of curvature.

  Thus, to fix the device on the edge of a straight glass, we use the part of the hook which is located closest to the passer that is to say inward, while to fix the device on the edge of a wineglass-type glass, or "balloon" glass, the walls of which are very curved, we shall use the portion of the hook situated towards the outside, that is to say the portion of the hook furthest from the passing.

  According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the passer is partially open. In this way, the latter becomes elastically deformable, and it is possible to insert a rather thick napkin, or which is folded so that its section is important. According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the passer can be closed, thus forming a complete ring.

  Finally, the device according to the invention is preferably formed in one piece by molding a thermoplastic injection, which reduces manufacturing costs and have an effective and economical device to produce.

  In any case, the invention will be better understood with the aid of the detailed description which follows, and with reference to the appended schematic drawing showing by way of nonlimiting example an embodiment of a fixing device of a Towel on the edge of a glass, according to the invention: Figure 1 is a perspective view, attached to the edge of a straight-edged glass; Figure 2 is a perspective view; Figure 3 is a top view, in an alternative embodiment in which the passer is open; Figure 4 is a schematic side view, when attached to the edge of a glass.

  As illustrated in FIG. 1, the device 1 for fixing a towel according to the invention comprises a loop 2, of annular shape, inside which can be arranged a napkin 3, which is wound on itself, and an inverted "U" -shaped hook 4, extending substantially vertically upwardly from one edge of the passer, the hook being bent outwardly of the device and then downwardly therefrom so as to be able to fix said device on the edge of a glass 5.

  As illustrated in Figure 2, the bottom of the hook is divided into two parts 6a, 6b by a partition 7 extending from the bottom of the hook, downwards, whose length is less than the depth of the hook. In this way, it is possible to fix the device on the edge of glasses having different radii of curvature.

  Thus, to fix the device 1 on the edge of a straight glass, as illustrated in FIG. 1, use will be made of the part 6a of the hook which is located closest to the passer, that is to say towards the inside, while to fix the device on the edge of a wine glass type glass sometimes also called "balloon" glass as shown in Figure 4 dotted treated, we will use the portion 6b of the hook to the outside, c ' that is, the portion of the hook furthest from the passer.

  The device 1 then bears on the one hand on the upper edge of the glass 5 which is in contact with the bottom 6a, 6b of the hook 4, and on the other hand on the periphery of the glass 5 which is in contact with the surface exterior of the passer 2 located opposite the hook 4.

  In the particular case of glasses whose calyx shape is conical, as shown in solid lines in Figure 4, it will be advantageous to use the portion 6a of the hook 4 the innermost inside the device, and to arrange the towel table 3 inside the loop 2, so that it bears on the table, as shown in Figure 4.

  According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the passer 2 is partially open, as shown in Figure 3. In this way, the latter becomes elastically deformable, and it is possible to insert a rather thick napkin , or that is folded in such a way that its section is important.

  Finally, the device according to the invention is preferably formed in one piece by molding a thermoplastic injection, which allows to reduce manufacturing costs and to have an effective and economical device to produce.

  As goes without saying, the invention is not limited to the sole embodiment of this device, described above as an example, it encompasses all variants. This is how the shape of the passer can vary, and be chosen oval, triangular, or other.

  1 Device (1) for fixing a napkin (3) on the edge of a glass (5), characterized in that it comprises a loop (2) inside which can be arranged a towel table (3), and an inverted "U" shaped hook (4), extending substantially vertically upwards from an upper edge of the loop (2), the hook (4) being bent towards the outside the device and downwards thereof, so as to fix said device on the edge of the glass.   2 Device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the loop (2) is annular.   3 Device (1) according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the bottom of the hook (4) is divided into two parts (6a, 6b) by a partition (7) extending from the bottom of the hook down the device, and whose length is less than the depth of the hook.   4 Device (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the loop (2) is partially open.     Device (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it is formed in one piece by molding a thermoplastic injection.
