Abstract
The inventive device comprises a directional infrared sensor (6) having a cyindrical or slightly conical detection volume in order to detect infrared radiation which is exclusively emitted by a first area (1) of the emitting surface of the object or body whose temperature is to be measured, located inside said detection volume, and means for treating information provided by the sensor (6), in addition to calculating means which can determine the temperature of said object or body on the basis of said information. The inventive device also comprises a luminous radiation source (SL) which emits inside the visible spectrum, said source (SL) being associated with projection means creating a beam of light which can illuminate a second area of the emitting surface including said first area (1).
