Abstract

Geometrically relating system has a detector (1) e.g. charge-coupled device type optoelectronic camera, observing a reference point (10) defining a line (11) at three axes. The point has infrared diodes (12) permitting the detector (1) to detect the position and orientation of the point relative to the detector (1). A detector (2) observes a detector (1) and a detector (3) observes the detector (2) for placing it in a line related to the detector (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for geometrically relating a reference point with respect to a final optical detector of a set of detectors.
