Abstract

L'invention facilite la configuration des décodeurs satellite. Un procédé d'auto-détection permet de configurer le décodeur sans avoir à connaître l'installation au préalable. Le procédé d'auto-détection teste différentes possibilités de configuration afin de déterminer le système d'antenne utilisé. On envoie une série de commande de sélection d'entrée pour commutateur d'antenne distant correspondant à un éventail donné de possibilités de commande de commutateur, ledit éventail étant indépendant du système d'antenne utilisé.
