Abstract

Description

INCORPORATED DOUBLE LATTE MATTRESSES

  The present invention relates to a mattress, able to marry and maintain in an ideal position, the anatomical profile of the user during all sleep.

  Currently all manufacturers are faced with the problem of finding the middle ground between hard mattresses and soft mattresses. Indeed if the mattress is too hard: the lumbar belt is insufficiently supported and the vertebrae collapse. Too much pressure is also exerted on the level of the heals and hips. If the mattress is too soft, it is hollow in the middle and the back is arched to be placed there.

  The ideal is of course that the mattress crushes where it is necessary (on the shoulders and the hips, when one is on the side, at the level of the buttocks, when one is on the back), while supporting effectively the nape, the waist and the legs. For this, it is imperative that slats, only able to support correctly and linearly these parts of the body, can adapt best to the anatomical curvatures of the user. They must therefore have a possibility of sufficient vertical movement, either at the level of the mattress or at the level of the mattress. The thickness of the mattress above them should not be too great, not to harm their action; The mattress according to the invention makes it possible to respect this requirement. It is in fact composed of two rows of laths glued at their ends, on two amounts of foam, and covered symmetrically by two panels of foam (or any other material which can fulfill the same function), thin.

  Referring to these drawings, the mattress according to the invention - 2 - is composed of two rows of slats (1), all glued at their ends, on two amounts of foam (2), which can be provided with notches, corresponding to the thickness of said slats. Symmetrically above each row of slats (1), are placed (preferably glued), two panels of foam (3), or other material that can perform the same function, and thin.

  To minimize any lateral movement of a row of slats, relative to each other, it is placed where necessary, foam pads (4), glued between two slats. These tampons (4) also make it possible to make firmer certain areas of the mattress that require it (lumbar for example).

  In a more elaborate version, these buffers (4) can be held not by gluing but by Velcro tape, thus rendering their placement variable at the discretion of the user. To make in this case, the two amounts of foam (2) easily removable, the slats (1) are placed freely in the end pieces (5), glued them on said amounts of foam (2) fig 4.
