Abstract

The case has a vertical frame (4) with multiple slots for receiving panels (2). Each slot has a lower corner (9) supporting a lower edge of the panel, and an upper corner (10) cooperating with a blocking unit (15). The unit moves between an inactive position in which the panel is placed or extracted from the slot and an active position in which an upper part of the panel is blocked in the slot to prevent tilting of the panel.

Description

The present invention relates to the general field of display furniture.

  More specifically, it relates to a display cabinet for the linear exhibition of sample panels, particularly of parquet or tiling panels.

  In the building materials trade, the different models of parquet, tiling or earthenware in particular, are exposed for sale in the form of rectangular or square sample panels, to facilitate the choice of the consumer.

  These sample panels are sometimes positioned on furniture displays of appropriate structure. Some of these display cabinets are formed of a frame in the form of a vertical frame provided with several vertically adjacent locations, and possibly horizontally, which are each adapted to receive one of the panels in question, in a vertical or substantially vertical plane. The corresponding locations are adapted to allow removable positioning of the panels, so as to allow their replacement.

  For this purpose, conventionally, each location is equipped with two fixed wedge-shaped mounting structures, one lower and the other upper, open towards each other and intended to ensure the vertical retention of the sign. The upper angle has a greater depth than the lower angle.

  In practice, the positioning of the panel begins with the insertion at an angle of its upper edge in the opening of the upper angle. The panel is then rotated in this upper angle so as to bring it in a vertical plane, its lower edge passing above the lower angle. The bottom edge of the panel is finally inserted and placed in the bottom of the lower angle, this simply by vertical translation down. In this position, the upper edge of the panel is always maintained by the front wing of the upper angle; this front wing forms a stop which prevents the panel from tilting forward. The removal of the panel from its receiving location follows a reverse path, that is to say that it is first raised, then disembarked from the lower angle and finally completely extracted, in particular from the upper angle, by moving down.

  The sample panels in question can sometimes weigh very heavy (up to a few hundred kilograms), and handling related to their establishment and removal of the furniture reception are particularly difficult, especially for locations located in height . The difficulties in question are particularly related to the different movements that the operator or operators must achieve without being able to rest the panel on a support.

  The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a new display panel display cabinet structure, the locations of which are adapted to facilitate the positioning and extraction of these panels.

  The corresponding display furniture are of the type comprising locations arranged in a vertical or substantially vertical plane, each provided with a support structure of the bottom edge of a sample panel, shaped like an angle, and means for blocking the part. top of this panel, to prevent it from tipping forward.

  According to the invention, these display cabinets are characterized in that the locking means of the upper part of the sample panel comprise at least one movable member between an inactive position in which the panel can be positioned or extracted from its receiving location, and an active position in which the upper part of this panel, previously positioned in said location, is locked to prevent it from tilting.

  This particular structure makes it possible to initiate the positioning of the panel in its reception location, directly by inserting its lower edge on the lower support structure. It then suffices for the operator to tilt the panel to bring it to a vertical or substantially vertical position, and then to activate the upper blocking means to form a stop preventing any possibility of tilting towards the front of the panel.

  The positioning and removal manipulations of the panels are made simpler, easier and faster.

  According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the locking means provided at the upper part of the panel receiving locations consist of a fixed upper structure, arranged longitudinally and at a distance from the upper edge of the panel positioned in its location. receiver, which fixed structure cooperates with at least one attached locking member which is provided movable between an inactive position in which the panel can be positioned or extracted from its receiving location, and an active position in which said locking member forms a abutment opposite the upper part of the front face of the panel.

  According to a first possible embodiment, the locking member or members consist of at least one rigid plate capable of cooperating with the fixed upper structure, which plate or plates are movable between the aforementioned active and inactive positions.

  In this context, the corresponding blocking means may consist of a blocking plate provided with an orifice which allows it to be fixed removably to the fixed upper structure, by means of a screw or a screw-nut system. .

  According to a particular embodiment, the locking means consist of a fixed upper structure on which at least one locking plate is pivotally mounted about an axis perpendicular to the plane of the panel suitably positioned in its receiving location.

  According to another possibility, the locking means consist of a fixed upper structure equipped with at least one rod-shaped element provided with an end-head, which element or elements in the form of rods each cooperate with a flat blocking; this plate comprises a main orifice whose dimensions are greater than those of said stem head, to allow its positioning on said rod, which main orifice is extended by a hooking light whose width corresponds, with the clearance, to that of said rod; the blocking plate is movable between an active position in which it is suitably assembled on the support rod, and an inactive position in which it is disengaged from this rod, or maneuvered by pivoting about the axis defined by this rod.

  According to another embodiment of the invention, the locking member or members comprise a rod or a rigid plate having a longitudinal portion intended to form, in the active position, a stop facing the upper part of the front face of the panel positioned in its receiving location, which longitudinal portion is provided at its upper end with a hook forming extension, allowing its removable attachment to the fixed upper structure.

  In this context, and according to a first possibility, the locking means consist of a fixed top structure shaped angle having a horizontal wing extended by a vertical front wing. This vertical front wing is intended to cooperate with a locking member in the active position, which locking member comprises a longitudinal portion connected, by a curved portion, to an extension extending parallel to said longitudinal portion, at a corresponding distance, to the game, to the thickness of the front wing of said angle.

  According to an advantageous characteristic, the display cabinet according to this first possibility comprises means which allow the locking in the active position of the locking member. The locking member or members then preferably consist of a flat whose longitudinal portion is provided with a threaded through orifice which is intended, in the active position, to receive a locking screw adapted to be positioned under the lower face of the horizontal wing of the upper angle.

  According to a particular embodiment, the piece of furniture comprises a fixed upper structure in the form of an angle having a horizontal wing delimited at the front by a vertical wing, which horizontal wing is provided with an orifice whose caliber is adapted to receive the part. longitudinal of the locking member, mounted in the active position, said longitudinal portion extending opposite and parallel to the rear face of the vertical front wing of said bracket.

  According to a second possibility, the locking member consists of a longitudinal portion provided, at its upper end, with an extension extending to the square, which longitudinal portion, in the active position, fits into a hole vertical axis arranged in the fixed upper structure.

  Still according to an advantageous characteristic, the fixed upper structure of the sample panel receiving locations has a form of angle adapted to form the lower support structure of the directly superior adjacent location.

  FIG. 1 is a general perspective view of a display unit 1 according to the invention for the display of removable sample panels 2.

  These panels 2 are conventional and well known to those skilled in the art. They consist of a rectangular or square support, on which are reported samples of building materials, such as tiles, parquet or earthenware for example.

  The furniture 1 in question has a general structure, welded metal skeleton, consisting of an L 3 chassis comprising a vertical rectangular frame 4 and a base at the bracket 5. The vertical frame 4 and the base 5 are connected by struts 6 extending at an angle.

  In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, it is observed that the display unit 1 allows the exposure of five panels 2 (which do not all have identical dimensions here).

  For this, the vertical frame 4 of the frame 3 comprises four vertically adjacent locations E, one directly above the other; each location E receives a panel 2 in a vertical plane. Note that the fifth panel 2 is positioned obliquely at a location E ', arranged on the upper face of the struts 6.

  According to the invention, the vertical locations E of the vertical frame 4 have an original structure facilitating the manipulation of positioning and extraction of the panels 2.

  The structure of one of these vertical locations E is shown schematically in FIGS. 2 to 4. The corresponding location E is delimited by two U-shaped corners, one lower 9 and the other upper 10, secured to the frame. vertical 4, at a suitable distance to allow them vertical positioning of a panel 2. The openings of the two corresponding U-shaped structures 9 and 10 are oriented upwards.

  These two corner structures 9 and 10 are made of metal profiles. They each have a horizontal wing 11 extended by a vertical front wing 12 and a rear vertical wing 13, the latter being fixed on the vertical frame 4 by any appropriate means. The front wing 12 is provided with a movable locking member 15, which is intended to prevent the forward tilting of the panel 2 positioned vertically in the location E. In Figures 2 to 4, the movable blocking member 15 is schematically illustrated (as well as its active and inactive positions).

  It should be noted that the bottom angle 9 and the upper angle 10 of the location E correspond, in fact, respectively to the upper angle of the adjacent directly adjacent location E, and to the lower angle of the directly higher location E .

  The advantages of this particular structure will be understood from the following description, with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4 which show the main steps for the positioning of a panel 2 in its receiving location E. In the first place, the operator places the blocking member 15 in the inactive position, that is to say a position in which the panel 2 can be positioned and extracted from the location E without hindrance. In the case illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, the inactive position of the locking member 15 corresponds to a retracted configuration in which said locking member 15 extends above the horizontal flange 11 of the upper bracket 10 .

  The positioning of the panel 2 in its receiving location E begins with a biasing of the panel 2 (Figure 2), so as to insert its lower edge 16 in the lower bracket 9 (Figure 3). This lower angle 9 thus constitutes the support structure of the panel 2.

  The panel 2 is then positioned vertically, possibly until it bears against the vertical frame 4; in this position, the upper portion 17 of its front face 18 has exceeded the level of the locking member 15.

  The operator has only to place the locking members 15 in the active position, as shown in Figure 4, so as to form a stop preventing the tilting of the panel to the front. In this active position, the blocking member 15 extends facing the upper portion 17 of the front face 18 of the panel 2. This panel, supported by the horizontal flange 11 of the bracket 9 is kept locked, to the rear by the frame 4 of the furniture, and in the front by the vertical flange 12 of the bracket 9 in the lower part, and by the locking member 15 in the upper part.

  To extract the panel 2 from the slot E, the operator makes it follow a reverse path. For this, the operator first places the locking members 15 in the inactive position. Then, the panel can be tilted forward so as to release its upper edge 17 from the location E, in a configuration similar to that shown in FIG. 3. Finally, the operator pulls upward on the panel, to release its lower edge 16 of the angle 9.

  This presentation makes it clear that manipulations of positioning and extraction of the panels are facilitated compared to those required with display furniture of the state of the art. In particular, the time required for the maintenance of the panel by the operator, without removal support, is here very small, since the first step of the assembly consists of placing the bottom edge of the panel on the lower support structure. Similarly, the last step of disassembly is to extract this bottom edge of the support angle.

  Figures 5 to 19 are views detailing various possible embodiments of the locking means schematically illustrated by the reference numeral 15 in Figures 2 to 4.

  We find, in these Figures 5 to 19, the vertical frame 4 on which is fixed the upper bracket 10 adapted to cooperate with the locking members 15. As illustrated in Figure 5, the locking members 15 are advantageously two in number , arranged laterally to improve the blocking of the panel and ensure optimum safety; of course, one could consider the presence of one, or more than two, locking members 15.

  Depending on the case, these locking members 15 are either in the form of a rigid plate of metal or other material (Figures 5 to 17), or in the form of a rod for example metal (Figures 18 and 19) .

  In these figures 5 to 19, there is also the panel 2 to be held vertically by the locking members 15, only its upper part 17 is here visible; the lower part 16 of a panel 2 is also observed resting on the upper angle 10, which thus also constitutes the support structure of the directly superior adjacent location.

  In Figures 5 and 6, the locking members 15, each in the form of flat or rectangular plate, are provided with an orifice 19 arranged near one of the short sides of the rectangle, and centered on its width. In their active position, as represented in both FIGS. 5 and 6, these plates 15 are each fixed by means of a screw 20 on the front wing 12 of the upper angle member 10. The screw 20 passes through the orifice 19 arranged in the plate 15, and it is fixed on a threaded orifice 21 arranged on said front wing 12 of the bracket 10.

  The lower portion of the plates 15 then extends facing the upper portion 17 of the front face 18 of the panel 2, to form a removable locking stop.

  The inactive position of these locking members 15 consists in their disassembly by unscrewing the screw 20, or in their simple pivoting on the side. The operator can thus extract the panel, for example for replacement.

  In Figure 6, there is still the presence of an angle L 10 ', arranged under the U-shaped angle 10, serving as a reinforcing member (this L-angle bracket 10' in Figures 7 to 19).

  FIG. 7 shows an alternative embodiment of the locking means described above in relation with FIGS. 5 and 6.

  7 is a rectangular plate 15 provided with an orifice 19 which allows its removable attachment to an orifice 21 arranged in the front wing 12 of the bracket 10. According to this variant, the corresponding attachment is made by means of a bolting system 28 (screw and nut). The orifice 21 does not need to be tapped.

  In FIG. 8, the locking members 15 consist of rectangular plates similar to those described in relation with FIGS. 5 to 7. These plates 15 are here mounted in free pivot about an axis 22 perpendicular to the plane of the panel 2 positioned. in the location E. This axis 22 is materialized by a screw 23, and in particular by the body 24 of this screw 23, welded against the underside of the horizontal flange 11 of the angle 10. The screw 23 is provided with an end head 25 for holding the blocking plate 15. It is understood that the body 24 is preferably not threaded.

  The mounting of these locking members 15 begins with the insertion of the body 24 of the screw 23 through the orifice 19. The screw body 24 is then welded properly against the underside of the bracket 10, or fixed by any other way.

  The eccentric position of the orifice 19 relative to the center of gravity of the plate 15 allows the automatic positioning of this blocking plate in the active position, by simple gravity.

  The positioning or extraction of the panel 2 implies that the operator ensures pivoting of the blocking plates 15, in the inactive position, so as to ensure their retraction of the front portion of the panel 2.

  In variant embodiments of FIG. 8, illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 13, there is the rectangular blocking plate 15 provided with an orifice 19 for its pivotal mounting on a receiving structure 23.

  For the variants illustrated in FIGS. 10 to 12, the corresponding receiving element 23 consists of a rod 24, threaded or drawn, which is fixed by welding against the lower face of the horizontal flange 11 of the upper bracket 10. end head 25 of this rod 24, for holding the locking plate 15, consists, depending on the case in a lock nut (Figure 10), a self-tightening retaining washer (Figure 11), or in one welded washer (Figure 12).

  In FIG. 13, the receiving member 23 is in the form of a screw, consisting of a threaded body 24 and a one-piece end head 25. The screw 23 is removably held by screwing its body 24 into a nut 29 welded, or fixed by any appropriate means, to the lower face of the horizontal flange 11 of the upper angle 10.

  Note that the locking plates 15 of the embodiments described above in connection with Figures 10, 11 and 13 are removable, because of the removable nature of the heads 25 (Figures 10 and 11) or even the element of reception 23 in full (FIG. 13). On the other hand, the blocking plate 15 of the variant described with reference to FIG. 12 is not removable.

  In Figure 14, there is, as Figure 8, an upper bracket 10 equipped with a receiving element 23, generally in the form of a screw. The body 24 of this receiving member 23 (threaded or not) is welded to the underside of the horizontal flange 11 of the bracket 10; its head 25 protrudes beyond the bulk of the front wing 12 of said bracket 10.

  The locking member 15 (FIG. 15), still in the form of a rectangular plate, here comprises a main orifice 26 extended by a longitudinal slot 27 extending towards the shortest side closest to the rectangle. The orifice 26 and the lumen 27 are centered on the width of the plate 15. The main orifice 26 has a diameter greater than that of the screw head 25, and the lumen 27 has a width corresponding, with the clearance, to the diameter of the screw body 24.

  In the active position, the locking member 15 is mounted on the receiving screw 23 to form the abutment preventing the tilting of the panel 2, as shown in Figure 14. For this, the plate 15 is attached to the screw 23 of so that the head 25 passes through its main orifice 26. Then the member 15 is moved downwards, so that the screw body 24 is housed in the light 27.

  When the operator wants to extract the panel from the location E, the locking member 15 is disassembled, this by reverse operations of those described above. The plate 15 can also be simply pivotally retracted, as previously described in particular with reference to FIG. 8.

  In FIG. 16, the locking members 15, in the form of metal plates worked by folding, consist of a longitudinal main part 30 intended to form the locking abutment, which is connected to a parallel extension 31 by a curved portion 32 The corresponding blocking members 15 are in the general form of a hook adapted to be mounted on the front wing 12 of the upper bracket 10.

  For this assembly, the extension 31 has a length less than the height of the flange 12. It extends parallel and at a distance from the longitudinal portion 30 which corresponds, with the clearance, to the thickness of said flange 12.

  In this case, the locking member 15 is placed in the active position by hooking on the wing 12 of the upper angle 10. This attachment can be made slightly forcibly. The wing 12 is then sandwiched between the longitudinal portion 30 and the extension 31 of the locking member 15; the curved portion 32 of the locking member 15 is placed in abutment against the upper part of the flange 12. The longitudinal portion 30 extends along the outer face of the flange 12; its lower portion constitutes the stop element preventing tilting of the panel 2.

  On the other hand, it is well understood that the inactive position of these locking members 15 is obtained by their unhooking of the upper bracket 10.

  In FIG. 17, the locking member 15 is similar to that described with reference to FIG. 16. There is a flat-shaped member comprising a longitudinal portion 30 associated with a hooking element 31, 32. locking member 15 comprises here a threaded orifice 33, centered on the width of the longitudinal portion 30, for receiving a screw 34 for locking the locking member 15 in the active position, its body being positioned in relation to the angle 10 to prevent the undoing of the hooking element 31, 32. The locking member 15, in the active position (Figure 17), is hooked on the front wing 12 of the bracket 10, as described above in relation to with the figure 16. In this position, the upper edge of the tapped hole 33 extends slightly under the lower face of the horizontal flange 11 of the angle 10. The locking of the locking member 15 is ensured by the set up of the screw 34 in the threaded orifice 33 so, as explained above, that the body of this screw comes to be positioned just below said horizontal flange 11.

  It is understood that this positioning of the screw 34 prevents any inactivation of the locking member 15 by a simple upward maneuver.

  In the case in point, the inactivation of this member 15 involves the unscrewing of the screw 34, then its unhooking of the wing 12 of the bracket 10. In FIG. 18, the locking member 15 is in the form of 'a

  cylindrical rod, with a general structure similar to that of the organ described above in connection with Figures 16 and 17. In this case, there is the presence of a longitudinal main portion 30 and a parallel extension 31, which are connected at their upper end by a curved portion 32.

  Still as described above, this locking member 15, in the active position, is hooked on the front wing 12 of the bracket 10. On the other hand, it is noted in this figure 18 that the longitudinal portion 30 comes here facing the inner face or rear of the wing 12. For this the horizontal flange 11 of the bracket 10 is provided with an orifice 35 adapted for the passage of the longitudinal portion 30 above.

  Of course, the inactive position of the locking member 15 consists of an unhooked configuration of the bracket 10.

  In Figure 19, the locking member 15 is in the form of an L-shaped rod with a longitudinal portion 36 provided at its upper end with an extension 37 extending to the square.

  As shown in this figure 19, the longitudinal portion 36 is inserted through an orifice 38 formed in the horizontal flange 11 of the bracket 10, to ensure its setting active position. The locking member 15 is held in this position by the extension 37 which forms a stop against the upper face of the horizontal flange 11.

  The inactive position of this holding member 15 is obtained, as described for the previous embodiments described with reference to FIGS. 16 to 18, by its stalling of the angle iron 10.

Display cabinet according to any one of claims 7 to 10, characterized in that it comprises a fixed upper structure (10) shaped angle having a horizontal flange (II) delimited at the front by a vertical flange (12), which horizontal flange (11) is provided with an orifice (35) whose gauge is adapted to receive the longitudinal portion (30) of the locking member (15), mounted in active position, said longitudinal portion (30) extending opposite and parallel to the rear face of the front vertical wing (12) of said bracket (10).   12. Display cabinet according to any one of claims 7 or 8, characterized in that the locking member (15) consists of a longitudinal portion (36) provided at its upper end with an extension (37). extending at right angles, which longitudinal portion (36), in the active position, is inserted into a hole (38) of vertical axis arranged in the fixed upper structure (10).   13. Display cabinet according to any one of claims 2 to 12, characterized in that the fixed upper structure (10) has a form of angle, adapted to form the lower support structure (9) of the adjacent location E directly superior.
