Abstract

The device has two parts (A, B), where the part (B) has a slit (1) in which a tile (2) of floor or faience is inserted. The part (B) is fixed on the part (A) at an angle of around 65 degrees so that one hand of a user can hold the device and another hand can exert a lever arm on the tile. The tile is striped using a scriber (5), before inserting the tile in the slit, to cut the tile. The parts (A, B) are made of aluminum or PVC.
