Abstract

The shelf supporting ladder, e.g. for stacking wholesale goods, consists of two uprights (3) of perforated and folded U-section metal strip with channels to receive shelf supports (4) that can be positioned to give a variable spacing between shelves. The supports receive the ends of cross-bars, also of folded strip, that can be supplied in long lengths and cut to the width of the shelves placed on them. The assembly is strengthened by rods (6) with tensioners.

Description

The present invention relates to a metal shelving device,

  composed of ladders and shelves of different depths.

  This type of shelving currently exists on the market, with scales, but not scalable in depth, which is an important constraint for wholesalers who are responsible for the storage management and resale of this equipment.

  Orders from the manufacturer are always based on the depth of scale requested by customers.

  The invention that I propose will reduce the storage cost of wholesalers, because with a uniform stock they will be able to offer their customers all the depths of shelving that could be requested from them, and that starting from the scale on which the shelves rest; this scale will be scalable in depths.

  This ladder is made up of 2 perforated and U-shaped sheet metal columns, forming a groove in which brackets are fitted and supported to support folded profiles in the form of angles cut to the desired length and depending on the It provides the depth of the scale required, and on which tablets of different sizes rest to adjust to the required depth.

  Angled bent profiles are delivered in long lengths to be cut to meet the desired dimensions.

  The tie is constituted by a round rod connected to a tensioner allowing the positioning of 2 poles to the desired spacing.

  In a second embodiment, the tie rod is constituted by a threaded rod with nut, which itself acts as a tie rod and tensioner.

  With reference to these figures, a scale consists of: - 8 folded sheet metal angles (5) cut on demand, - 12 supports with hole (4) fitting into the groove (9) of the posts (3), - 2 tensioners (7) connected to the posts with hole (4) and tie rod (6), - 2 - 2 tie rods (6) consisting of a round rod forming a cross, - 2 posts of posts (2) resting on the ground - 2 posts (3) perforated and bent U-shaped with groove (9), all the elements of this scale (1) can change the depth. The shape of each post (3) allows to receive a support (4) on which will come to rest 2 free angles (5) cut to size by the editor, which will receive these angles (5) in great length.

  Each post (3) will fit on a platen (2) to give stability to the ground. Each support with hole (4) will fit into the post (3); in this support (4), will hang a cross pull (6) which itself will be fixed at the other end to a tensioner (7), which tensioner will catch in the support with hole (4), fitted into the post (3); these three elements (4) (6) and (7) doubled, allow to stabilize the scale (1) in its depth which is variable.

  The other solution to stabilize the ladder (1) would be to replace the tensioners (7) and the tie rods (6) by a threaded rod with nut (10) which will serve as pulling and tensioning.

  Since the supports (4), nested in the groove (9) of the post (3) at the selected locations and the angles (5) will be cut to the desired length, the scale (1) becomes scalable in depth.
