Abstract

The assembly has a retention rod (9) and a bolt that are buried in a sternum in order to avoid lesion of cutaneous tissue to bring closer, solidarize, and stabilize fragments of sectioned sternum. The retention rod has a cylindrical body with a diameter lesser than the bolt for introducing the body into the bolt. The bolt has blades (1) deployed in expansion during forced introduction into the rod by slits in the rod.

Une fois les deux sections osseuses rassemblées, les dispositifs " femelles " seront présentés en regard l'un de l'autre et solidarisés entre eux par le dispositif " mâle ". Cet élément en forme de coin est évidé en son centre, dans l'axe de la pièce (7), I'intérieur du cylindre est garni d'un système de rétention; tel qu'une spirale (8), ou un pas de vis ou une crémaillère. Ce système de rétention (8) va servir de guide au dispositif " mâle " et mettre en rétention ce dispositif " mâle " lorsqu'il sera introduit dans chacun des dispositifs " femelles ".
