Abstract
Description
Leveling and reprofiling work is traditionally carried out by large machines, mainly of the grader type. Small leveling and reprofiling work is most often done manually (a man with a rake and / or a shovel).
The device according to the invention overcomes the arduousness of this manual work. This pendulum device is adaptable to any lifting machine with mechanized advancement.
It is particularly suitable for lifting machines fitted with buckets, such as Loaders, Mini-loaders, Crawler excavators, Tire excavators, Backhoe loaders, Tractors 20 with lifting device (buckets, Forks ...) or even to trucks, vans, equipped with a tipping type device or even tipper truck with graveling device (gravel spreader).
The device for leveling materials, in particular reprofiling and leveling according to the invention consists of a non-rigid pendular system, formed of at least 4 points of attachment to the Leveling Structure. These attachment points are connected by non-rigid 3-point links constituting an isosceles triangle. The 2 front attachment points of the carrier device are connected to the 2 front attachment points of the Leveling Structure and the rear central attachment point of the carrier device is connected to the 2 rear fasteners of the Leveling Structure. The length of the non-rigid links is independently adjustable by lengthening or shortening these links (by adding or removing links if the link is of the chain type for example) which allows an inclination adjustment (on the right or left), but also an adjustment of the angle of incidence (forward or backward).
The Leveling Structure is composed of a Pair of Front and recessed Blades, of a Rear Scraper Support.
The Pair of Front Blades is made up of a part of a standard rendering or similar (assembled blades, "Rail" type beam or plank ...), and this, in any material whatsoever, such as for example a "I" shaped spar (type IPN, IPE, IPE-R, HEA, HEB), 10 o the "'T'" is positioned horizontally (NB: the position on the ground, of the Pair of Front Blades, is equivalent to an "H"). It is also possible that the Pair of Front Blades is made up of a "U" shaped spar (UPN, UAP type), where the "U" is placed upside down on the horizontal plane The rear scraper support is made up of an "L" shaped element or angle iron, or any other type of support allowing to fix a scraping device on it. The connection between the pair of front blades and the rear scraper support is carried out. with connecting rods or side rails. The 20 Rear Scraper Support allows to attach a rubberized Flap. The Flap can be adjusted on the Rear Scraper Support gr thanks to the pre-punching of holes on the Bib, at different heights. The upper part of the Pair of Front Blades has on its upper part 25 anchoring or wedging points for positioning the Removable Weight Bars. This system acts as a compensator and allows front or rear centering of the leveling structure. The locations of the attachment points on the Leveling System 30 can be offset and / or centered.
Figure 1 illustrates a rear 3/4 view of the invention. With reference to this figure, the device comprises 3 parts: The first part is the system for attaching to the lifting system of the materials mentioned above. It is therefore a question of positioning fasteners of the hook, shackle, carabiner or chain link type, on the bucket of the carrying machine or even on the bridge of a gravel spreader. The position of the fasteners is as follows: 2 symmetrical front fasteners (2) and 1 central rear fastener (3).
The second part establishes the link between the clips of the lifting system and the leveling system itself (detailed below in the third part). This flexible and gravitational link therefore consists of chain links [(4) and (5)]. The advantage of this link system being that it is possible to determine a particular setting 10 as a function of the number of links (more or less) on each chain. We can thus give, relative to the horizontal, a positive or negative angle of incidence to the leveling system, but also an inclination on the side or cant across the leveling system. By adjusting the length of the chains, the leveling device can be positioned in all directions.
The third part of the system consists of the Leveling Structure itself. This structure is composed on its front part of 2 successive parallel blades, which will be called: Pair of Front Blade (6), followed by a Rear Scraper Support (9). The 1st front blade can have 2 mini guide blades (7), the front return can be between 1 and 90 (ideally 45) on either side 25 of the front blade, and preferably of the same thickness than the front blade. These mini-blades (7) are used to channel the materials over the entire width of the front blade. The rear scraper support (9) is connected to the pair of front blades (6) by tubes or side members in order to link the pair of front blades (6) to the rear scraper support (9) on their part. respective superior. The rear scraper support (9) is fitted, on its lower part, with a flexible rubberized flap (10) or a metal rake (comb shape).
Four fastening systems (8) identical to those described above (hooks, shackles, carabiners or chain link), are positioned on the leveling device (1). Two symmetrical fastening systems [(2) and (4)] on the Front Blade Pair and two fastening systems on the Rear Scraper Support [(3) and (5)]. It can be specified that these attachments are located as close as possible to the 2 upper connecting bars (11). On the horizontal plane (the sectional view of the leveling system), alignment between the base of the Pair of Front Blades (6) and the base of the Flap (10) fixed to the Rear Scraper Support (9) is necessary, or even a slight vertical withdrawal of the scraper flap (10). In this optic of withdrawal, the flap (10) can be adjusted by sliding it on the rear scraper support (9) or by moving the flap (10) thanks to pre-punched locations. The mud flap (10) is fixed by several nuts and bolts to the Rear Wiper Support (9).
Depending on the type of material to be leveled and therefore depending on the density of the latter, it is possible to add masses to the Structure of the Leveling system. To do this, simply place simple Weight Bars (12) on the Pair of Front Blades (6). The Positioning of one or more Weight Bars (12) 20 makes it possible to move the center of gravity of the structure and one thus obtains a front or rear centering of the Leveling Structure (1). This system of Weight Bars therefore acts as a compensator, allowing the device to be finer adjusted during its evolutions. Small notches, in the form of lugs, placed on the upper part of the Pair of Front Blades (6) allow the Weight Bars (12) to be positioned in front of or behind the Pair of Front Blades (6).
