Abstract

The process involves selectively activating a speed regulator to provoke activation of an automatic mode. The deactivation of the regulator provokes an activation of a manual mode. An action for manually modifying the ratio of speed by a driver, provokes an additional deactivation of the regulator. The modifying action of the driver provokes an activation of the regulator, when the regulator is inactive. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device for selection of function mode of an automatic gear box of a vehicle (b) a control device.
