Abstract

  preferably at right angles, two sticky panels used as a trap to catch insects, attracted to the sticky surfaces by one or more attractive means (color, food, pheromones, kairomones, semi-chemical products, or other means), arranged in locations provided for this purpose on the trap itself.

  Maintaining the two panels at a determined angle, preferably straight, is essential for this type of trap in its use for the capture of harmful insects (detection, monitoring of populations, mass trapping or in the technique combining attractant + insecticide application with or without glue). Indeed, whatever the origin of the insect, the crossed trap appears to the entire insect, always presenting a silhouette which does not vary in its proportions.

  Crossed traps currently on the market generally use, to maintain themselves in a crossed position, a system of slides: - either independent of the panels (central tube fitted with longitudinal slides) 15 - or incorporated into the panels themselves (grooves on the surface Signs).   To this end, the invention provides a device: 1 - allowing the capture of insects, of the type comprising at least two panels, stuck and / or treated with an insecticide, which can be nested one in the other so as to define four half-panels oriented relative to each other at a determined angle around an assembly axis, characterized in that at least one of the half-panels has at its upper part or lower a tongue L integral, in an articulated manner at its base, with the half-panel and comprising at its free end a hooking means, the tongue being able to be folded down to a position approximately perpendicular to its half-panel, so that its hooking means can be fitted through an adjacent half-panel to maintain the two half-panels at a given relative angular position depending on the length of the tongue.   5 - Device characterized in that each diffuser installation means is constituted by a pre-cut location in the material of the panel or of the tongue allowing the insertion by insertion of the diffuser through the panel or of the tongue, and in that this location enables the diffuser which is placed therein to be held firmly by pressing through a cross cut (the two branches of which are of different lengths) provided in the center of this location.

  Detailed description: With reference to these figures, the device of the invention comprises at least two identical panels A and B, each provided in its upper part with a retaining tongue 20, in oblique cutout, the free end of which has a locking means approximately in the form of a hook defined by a slot F (the cutout of which, in the case of panels crossed at right angles, is an extension of the central slot FM of the panel) and determining a tab O for attachment.

  Each panel is provided with the following arrangements: - in the middle part, and vertically, an FM slot going from the base to the center of the panel; this slot allowing the two panels A and B to nest fully in head-to-tail position.

  - in the upper part: * a holding tab L, in oblique cutout, secured at its base to the upper part of the half-panel, and comprising at its free end a slot F which determines a tab O. This tongue L allows keep firmly attached two adjacent half-panels in a crossed position.

Claims (5)
