Abstract

The device has an insulating support (1) to receive a double electrical contact for an ET device, and another double electrical contact (9, 10) for an OU device. One of the contacts is concealed inside another contact by a stopper or a protective cap (11). The ET device connects one contact together at same contact point. The OU device connects another contact (9, 10) to cascade with the same contact point.

Description

The present invention relates to devices for selecting two

  possibility of electrical contacts with the same connection point and not requiring the use of a tool.

  The traditional method for modifying an electrical connection is to use additional connection points or to use a tool

  With reference to these drawings, the devices comprise: An insulating support (1) which may or may not be molded, of shape

  different, multiple geometric, integrated into an organ or other device.

  It must be isolated for the highest operating voltage. This support receives a superimposed double electrical contact (4), (2) 30 version "AND" or (9), (10) version "OR" including a movable contact (2) animated by a spring (3) version "AND" or a detachable contact (9) "OR" version.

  These contacts are connected to conductive wires (12) and isolated from each other. The conductive materials that make up these contacts can be

  This seal or cap must ensure good insulation between the

two device contacts.

  The materials of which it is composed must ensure isolation for the

  highest operating voltage.

Principle of use

  The "ET" device comprises an insulating support (1) which receives two superimposed contacts; a movable contact (2) is masked by a plug (5) inside the fixed contact (4) in the socket of the support.

  The two contacts can be put into service together after removing the insulating plug (5) as well as the conductive pad (7) for the variant fig 1. The movable contact (2) will then be unmasked and repelled by the spring (3) to be connected with the same contact point as the fixed contact (4). The spring (3) must ensure correct contact pressure for the flow of current.

  The device t OR "comprises an insulating support (1) which receives two

  superimposed contacts; a fixed contact (10) is masked by a cover (11) under the detachable contact (9).

  The two contacts can be cascaded, that is to say one then the other.

  After removing the insulating cover (11) and permanently tearing off the detachable contact (9) the fixed contact (10) will then be unmasked and can be connected instead of the detachable contact (9).

  To detach the patch (7) or the detachable contact (9), it suffices to tear it off in torsion, a weak point (8) makes it possible to facilitate and mark the

break.

  This disc (7) or detachable contact (9) can also serve as

  second contact indicator.

Claims (5)

- CLAIMS   1) Double contact device version 'AND' and version 'OR' are characterized in that they comprise an insulating support which receives two electrical contacts (4) and (2) for the version 'AND' and (9), ( 10) for the 'OR' version, one of the contacts is hidden inside the other contact; the movable contact (2) is hidden inside the contact (4) for the 'AND' version and the contact (10) is hidden inside the detachable contact (9) for the 'OR' version.   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the movable contact (2) is masked in the contact (4) inside the socket of the support by an insulating plug (5) for the "ET" version, and in that the fixed contact (10) is hidden in the detachable contact (9) under an insulating cover (11) for the "OR" version.   3) Device according to claim 2 characterized in that the insulating plug (5) can be temporarily removed for the "ET" version and 15 definitively for the insulating cover (11) as well as the detachable contact (9) for the "OU" version.   4) Device according to claims 2 and 3 characterized in that the movable contact (2) is driven by a spring which repels it when the insulating plug (5) is removed.   5) Device according to any one of the preceding claims   characterized in that the insulating materials which constitute the insulating elements of the device are insulated for the highest operating voltage, and the conductive materials which constitute the contact elements ensure good passage of the electric current.
