L'invention concerne un dispositif autonome à déplacement d'air pour la climatisation d'un local.Il est constitué par un appareillage ( 55 ) comprenant dans un circuit séparé les moyens de traiter l'air ( 1 ), soit, une entrée ( 2 ), un moyen de filtration ( 3 ), un moyen de refroidissement à détente directe ( 4 ) avec son bac de récupération ( 5 ) de la condensation, un moyen de chauffage ( 6 ), un moyen d'aspiration ( 7 ), et un moyen de diffusion ( 10 ), composé d'un volume de détente ( 8 ) ainsi que d'un ensemble de chicanes ( 9 ) permettant une diffusion uniformément répartie sur la surface de sortie ( 10 ), ou sous forme de veines ( 74 ) verticales répartissant le débit en fonction des apports calorifiques des zones intéressées, et ce dans la limite des vitesses préconisées. Le moyen ( 54 ) de refroidissement des gaz, solidaire à l'appareillage ( 55 ) par ses raccordements ( 63 ), est situé au-dessus ( 56 ) de la zone à traiter délimitée par une hauteur définie ( 57 ), pour son refroidissement naturel, ou, en fonction des puissances raccordé à un réseau d'extraction avec un débit repris égal à celui du soufflage, augmenté le cas échéant du fait de l'existence d'un faux plafond, en puisant dans le volume créé, par des entrées additionnelles, l'air neuf supplémentaire sans perturber le soufflage.
