Abstract

The suction pad (1) has a hole (2) in its top through which a tube (3) comprising a tap (4) connected to a syringe (5) is connected. When the surgeon draws up the syringe a vacuum is created in the suction pad which placed against the tissue adheres to it enabling its attraction and dissection.

Description

Dissection in surgery is usually done with dissecting forceps or grasping forceps that can mishandle, crush, or damage friable tissue. This is the case for all the tissues, both external and internal, which do not resist gripping by one of these instruments, for example the lymph nodes, adrenals, parathyroids, friable skin tumors, the brain.

The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback.

En première caractéristique, il comporte une ventouse ou cupule en  As a first characteristic, it includes a suction cup or cup in

The suction cup, applied to the tissue, will adhere to it via the vacuum, thus allowing the gripping of this tissue, its traction to facilitate dissection.

Selon des modes particuliers de réalisation:  According to particular embodiments:

- the vacuum device is a syringe.

- la ventouse peut avoir une dimension de 0, 4 à 2 cm de diamètre et une  - the suction cup can have a dimension of 0.4 to 2 cm in diameter and a

0.4 to 1 cm deep. This suction cup must be made of flexible material, capable of being sterilized.

The tubing intended to connect the cup to the syringe is of a suitable diameter, allowing aspiration and depression without this tubing

s 'affaisse sous cette dépression.sags under this depression.

- The tubing connecting the suction cup to the syringe includes a valve 25 allowing the aspiration to stop and the vacuum to be maintained.

- The syringe is of variable size, from 5 to 60 cc.

Les dessins annexés illustrent l 'invention: - la figure] représente la ventouse, la tubulure et la seringue, - la figure 2 représente en coupe une variante de la cupule ou ventouse  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: - Figure] shows the suction cup, the tubing and the syringe, - Figure 2 shows in section a variant of the cup or suction cup

sans embout et son adhérence au tissu à enlever.  without tip and its adhesion to the fabric to be removed.

Cette tubulure comporte sur son trajet un robinet permettant le passage de l'air ou son arrêt lors de l'aspiration par la seringue,  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a suction cup (1) with a diameter varying from 0.4 to 2 cm, a depth varying from 0.5 to 1 cm and at the top of this cup, there is an orifice and a nozzle. (2) through which a tubing (3) fits. This tubing comprises on its path a tap allowing the passage of air or its stopping during the aspiration by the syringe,

(5) reliée à la tubulure (4).(5) connected to the tubing (4).

The length of the tubing (4) allows it to be used according to the depth of the organ to be grasped, a variable depth which can range from 4 to 30 cm, in particular

lors des interventions coelioscopiques.  during laparoscopic procedures.

permettra l 'adaptation et une adhérence de cette ventouse au tissu.  will allow the adaptation and adhesion of this suction cup to the fabric.

The device thus described is particularly intended for gripping during surgical operations on friable tissue, thus allowing a
