Abstract

The ear plug, incorporating a selective filter (1) is composed by a receptor and support base (2a) having in its median part an opening (4) integral with a pipe (3) which is integrated into the base and has lugs (7) which take a spongy cover (8). The pipe receives an exchangeable filter (6) chosen according to the nature of the ambient sound.

Noise and hygiene ear plug.

  The present invention relates to a noise-canceling and hygienic disposable earplug incorporating a selective filter according to the atmospheres and the ranges or sound frequencies to be filtered in order to promote the protection of the hearing of the human being by compared to the

noise sphere where it evolves.

  The invention is capable of forming an individual protective equipment for all people who accuse sound frequencies

harmful to the hearing aid.

  There are many personal protective devices available today to help protect the hearing system. We will note that there are protections of the helmet type, earplug earmuffs for single use, earplugs earmuffs molded to the ear canal of each individual, earplugs

  noise canceling held together by a roll bar or flexible cord.

  All of these noise protections mentioned above have multiple drawbacks. Indeed the current noise protection cannot satisfy both very good hygiene, the fact of being for single use, and the efficient filtration of noise, the fact of including a filter

  proportional selective and adapted to the harmful sound range to be filtered.

  The object of the present invention is to remedy the drawbacks

previously cited.

  The benefits of a new noise-canceling cap will become more apparent in

  the description below, as well as the drawing which illustrates the present

  invention. Figure 1 shows schematically the new noise-canceling earplug. Referring to Figure 1 A noise and hygiene ear plug incorporating a selective filter (1) is constituted by a receiving and support base (2). This part will be specially studied and formed so as to satisfy a good grip by the hand of the operator or the person to facilitate its introduction into the ear canal. Thus, the receiving and supporting base will also adopt a geometric and design conformation to allow a rapid and hygienic change of the foam which is in contact with the canal of the ear canal. The receiving base according to the invention will have an ergonomic profile (2a) and safety so as not to injure, in the most extreme conditions, the person who wears the earplug. The receiving and supporting base will present an opening right through, preferably in its middle part (4). The diameter of the opening will be variable. This opening is specially made to receive a conduit or pipe (3). This pipe (3) will be permanently sealed in the receiving part (2) by the effective sealing techniques known to those skilled in the art. According to another variant, the pipe or conduit (3) can be manufactured at the same time as the receiving and supporting part (2) in one piece (for example: in the manufacturing technique represented by plastic injection, the molding...). The pipe or conduit (3) will, according to a preference be more flexible or less rigid than the support by itself. The flexibility will depend in particular on the shore hardness of the cap which will be positioned on said pipe or conduit on the one hand, and on the other hand of the person who receives the noise-canceling earplug by

example: an adult or a child.

  The pipe or conduit (3) located in the middle part (4) of the support (2) will emerge from a certain length. The part of the duct which is not taken up in the mass of the support (4) will have a length determined by the length of the cap or of the covering foam. On the periphery of the conduit (3) there will be pins or holding protrusions (7) of the covering cap. These protuberances or retaining lugs are specially designed to facilitate the introduction of said covering cap and to provide relative resistance when it is removed. These holding pins

  will promote the safety of the earplug.

  The conduit or pipe (3) will also receive a filter (6) in its internal part. The filter will be chosen according to the nature and the sound environment in which the person evolves in order to optimize the OS protection of their hearing system. To find out which is the most suitable filter, we can carry out a sound level measurement. The configuration of the plug according to the invention will allow the filter to be changed by another at any time if this proves necessary. The outer terminal part of the conduit (3) will be positioned flush with the covering cap or slightly below it. For maximum efficiency, the filter (6) will be placed at strategic locations along the duct

internal (3).

  The conduit (3) has an opening at its two ends.

  The external part of the duct or pipe (3) will be covered by a spongy cap (8) which conforms to the anatomy of the ear canal and

  will satisfy its tightness.

  The covering cap will have in its middle part an opening for fixing it on the duct (3) and for letting through sounds or signals which are not harmful to the system

  The hardness shore of the cap, as well as its geometric conformation will vary significantly depending on the desired effect and morphology. The rapid change of the covering cap will allow good hygiene to be satisfied. All the more so since the recovery

is of the disposable type.

  Another feature of the invention resides in the fact that the receiving or support part (2) is provided with a perforation (5) allowing the passage of a cord connecting the two earplugs

CLAIMS:   1.Anti-noise and hygienic earplug incorporating a selective filter (1) characterized in that it is composed by a receiving and support base (2) having in its middle part an integral opening (4) of a conduit or pipe (3) which partly integrates into the receiving base (2) and the remaining part of which has lugs or protuberances (7) which adopt a spongy and ergonomic covering or cap (8), said conduit or pipe receiving in an internal part an exchangeable filter (6) chosen according to the   nature and the sound environment in which the person evolves.   2.Anti-noise and hygiene earplug incorporating a selective filter according to claim 1 characterized in that the receiving base (2) has a perforation (5) for the passage of a cord, - in that the base ( 2) receiver and support has an ergonomic and safety profile, - in that the pipe or conduit (3) is permanently sealed in the   receiving and supporting part (2).   3. noise and hygiene ear plug incorporating a selective filter according to claim 1 characterized in that the receiving and supporting part (2) and the conduit (3) are produced at the same time and in one piece,   - in that the conduit (3) is an integral part of the support (2).   4. ear plugs noise and hygiene incorporating a selective filter according to claim 1 characterized in that the part of the conduit (3) which is not included in the support (2) has a length   identical to the cover cap (8).   5.
