Abstract
The electric machine (10) comprises a rotor (20), and a stator (30) inside which the rotor turns about an axis of rotation (X). The stator is enclosed, with cooling fins and an external fan (100) to generate a current of air over the stator cooling fins. These cooling fins are perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotor.
