Abstract

A bag (1), made at least partly from polypropylene (2) or similar material and assembled with others in packs so they can be suspended conveniently for use when required.   The present invention relates to a set of bags, made at least in part of polypropylene - essentially intended to receive the bread -, heat-sealed together, and its production process. This set can be used in particular on the bread bag dispensers commonly used in the bread trade. At present, most often used at the point of sale of breads, bags independent of each other, fans of

  various materials, but there are no sets of pre-

  assembled, united by their upper part thanks to the special qualities of heated polypropylene, and provided with a pre-cut so

to facilitate the uprooting.

  The use of the product according to the present invention has many advantages: - with a single gesture, it is possible to position a large number of bags on the bag dispenser, - the operation of bagging the bread is made easier and secure because of the solidity and a certain rigidity obtained by the meeting between them of the upper parts of the bags, - each bag is easily detached from the next, - the use of this set allows an indisputable time saving, ensures a greater hygiene due to the reduction both in the number of manipulations required and the risk

  of each bag falling to the ground when the bread is introduced.

  The qualities specific to polypropylene in reaction to heat, make it possible to obtain, by this process, a clear cut forming the cavity (6); similarly, the precut (7) is easily carried out using a

  special tools during this operation.

  The diameter of the generally circular cavity (6) must be sufficient to allow threading of the set of bags thus obtained on the axis of the devices used to distribute the bread bags; once ['together in place, then just pull on each bag (1) to the

  detach from the next according to the precut (7).

  When the width of the bags (1) justifies it, two or more cavities (6) can be arranged in the polypropylene parts (4) so as to allow good maintenance of the assembly on the axes of the

distribution devices.

  The association, under these conditions, of paper and

  polypropylene provides strength, hygiene and safety.

  The same product can be made using only polypropylene or any other material having the same properties, or by reducing or, on the contrary by increasing the

polypropylene part.

  It should however be noted that the use in part of paper allows the bread to breathe and therefore dispenses with having to

  provide ventilation openings in polypropylene.

  The assembly obtained can be designed and used to package

other objects.
