Abstract

A natural product-based composition (I), for use in the production of medicinal extracts, comprises an alcohol-free combination of propolis and lavender essential oil. Independent claims are included for: (1) an alcohol-free liquid extract (II), obtained from (I) (preferably by maceration); (2) the preparation of (I), by introducing 5-20 (especially 12) parts propolis (previously ground to fine powder at 10-15 degrees C) into a container, adding lavender oil to a total of 100 parts and manually mixing; and (3) the preparation of (II) by forming (I) as in (2) then allowing the mixture to macerate for 1-4 (especially 2.5) months, filtering the liquid phase and recovering and storing the filtrate.

Surprisingly, it has been found that the association of propolis with a lavender essence meets this object. It has also been found that in the presence of lavender essence, the effect of propolis is greater than that expected by the simple game of concentration of the text. In fact, it has been observed that the essential oil of lavender acts not only as an active ingredient complementing the effect of propolis, but also strengthening its action. We can suppose that this amplification is due to the combination of the solvent properties of lavender oil vis-à-vis the active substances of propol is, with its liposolub properties which favor the penetration of the active ingredients through the skin and mucous membranes. The present invention thus has for first object a composition based on products - 5 of natural origin intended for the preparation of an extract for medical use, comprising in combination at least propolis and an essential oil of lavender, and not containing alcohol. Propolis is obtained as indicated above by scraping the frames of the hive, preferably in summer, at a temperature of 10 ° C. to 15 ° C. Wile is introduced into the composition according to the invention in the form of a finely ground powder, in general using a mechanical grinder, for example a coffee grinder.   In the composition according to the invention, an aromatic essential oil is used, advantageously an essential oil of lavender.   The liquid extract capable of being obtained from the composition according to the invention is also an object of the present invention. Preferably, this extract is obtained by maceration of said composition, that is to say by extraction at room temperature. No

  Here we take advantage of the solvent properties of lavender essential oil which is capable of dissolving many organic molecules contained in propolis. The liquid extract according to the present invention is therefore original by the profile of the organic fractions present which have been solubilized by the essential oil of lavender. Another object of the present invention is therefore a non-alcoholic liquid extract containing the active components

  propolis soluble in lavender essential oil.

  Another object of the present invention is a process for preparing a composition according to the invention. This process, making it possible to obtain a non-alcoholic liquid composition, comprises at least the steps consisting in: - introducing into a container 5 to 20 parts, preferably 12 parts, of propolis previously reduced to a fine powder using a grinder at a temperature between C and 15 C, - complete to 100 with essential lavender today, and - mix manually; The grinder used can be any mechanical grinder for obtaining a fine powder. A coffee grinder is suitable for this operation. We will preferably be in

  Ideally a temperature of 10 C to 15 C is recommended, which can however be

  From the composition thus obtained, a non-alcoholic liquid extract as described above is prepared, according to a process also subject of the present invention. This process comprises at least the steps consisting in: - preparing a non-alcoholic liquid composition based on propolis and whole lavender essential oil, for example by the process described above; - let macerate said composition for 1 to 4 mods, preferably 2.5 mods;

  - filter the liquid phase, collect the text and condition.

  The container in which the maceration takes place is placed in a room without temperature or lighting constraints. It is however recommended to use a local room at 25 C maximum and out of direct sunlight. When the maceration is finished, the liquid phase is filtered on a paper filter, of the coffee filter type, or on a fine cloth. The

  Preparation of a propolis-lavandin extract À1 'i A composition based on propolis and essence of lavandin was first prepared.
