Abstract

The method of forming a colored image uses a wall lamp (16) behind a translucent screen (10) carrying images (18,20). A layer (22,24) of at least one color is placed on the rear face of the screen. the screen can be made of porcelain, plastic, translucent glass or paper. The colored layer can be paint, varnish, print, or a heat resistant decal.

Claims

Method for producing a color lithophany on a product, comprising an outer face (1 OB) carrying this lithophany, an inner face (10A) and a light source (16) facing this face interior, characterized in that it consists in depositing on said interior face at least one layer (22, 24) of a color on at least part of this interior surface.

2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the product is produced from porcelain, plastics, opal glass or paper.
