Abstract

The ski comprises a board (1) on which handlebars (2) are fixed. Two movable fixings (3) positioned on the board are rotated by means of a spindle (5) of two runners (4).

The present invention relates to a machine making it possible to slide, steer, and brake on snow. Currently most of the sliding devices approaching my Invention, are directed and braked by the displacement of a handlebar placed at r before this one, or with the help of sticks.

Contrary to these, my invention is noted by the fact that the changes of direction and braking of the machine are carried out using two movable pads, horizontally.

And which are each connected to the practitioner's feet by a vertical axis perpendicular to the plane of the board, which comes to be assembled on fasteners.

These are the rotational movements of the practitioner's hips which orient the skates so as to change direction or to brake. The main board which carries the practitioner is equipped with a handlebar which ensures a good point of support to it. We find by these movements, the techniques used in traditional Alpine skiing with greater stability, ensured by the wide board on which is the practitioner.

This invention is ideal for introducing beginners to the techniques and pleasures of Alpine skiing.

But it can also generate a sport in its own right, with (f possible competitions such as, slaloms, big raids, races etc.

The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention.

Figure 1 shows the invention seen in profile.

Figure 2 shows the invention seen in perspective.

Figure 3 shows in section the detail of the assembly F, movable shoe which provides the steering and braking of the invention.

Referring to Figure 3, the device comprises: a shoe fastening system (3), mounted on a sole, horizontally movable (6) connected by a vertical axis (5), to a metal pad (4).

 With reference to these figures, the device consists of a board (1) surmounted at 1 before a handlebar (2).

Handlebar which is articulated in a circular movement going from front to back and thus allowing it to be folded down, see detail of the articulation of the handlebar figure (4).

The handlebars are traditional in shape, it can be covered with protection to avoid the risk of injury during falls. This will also include a locking system.

At the rear of this board are two bindings (3) of the snowboard binding type.

These fixings are placed on the support board parallel to each other, with a space between them of a few centimeters.

They have a rotational movement on a horizontal plane going from left to right and vice versa, independently of one another, thanks to a vertical axis (5) connecting each fastener (3) to its shoe (4).

These pads which ensure the braking and the direction of the machine will preferably be in chromed steel, and they will be fixed on their axis by a screw / nut assembly so that they can be changed if necessary.

For information, they will have a length of 20 to 25 centimeters for a height of 3 to 5 centimeters.

Protective plates (8 and 7) of metal or alloy will be fixed on the board, under the fasteners on the one hand and under the pads on the other hand.

This is to prevent premature wear of the board by friction.

They will be referred to the board in order to be changed if necessary.

By way of nonlimiting example, the machine will have dimensions of the order of 120 centimeters in length, and 40 centimeters in width.

The dimensions of the board can be changed in width and length depending on the size of the user.

The manufacture of the support board may be carried out by the superposition of several layers of resin and fiberglass, on a preformed mold.

Other models can be made from a thin plate or board, sandwiched by cold polymerizable materials.

The device according to the invention is more particularly intended in the context of leisure for the practice of sliding on snow.

Claims (6)

claims  1) Machine making it possible to slide, brake, and move on the snow, comprising a board (1) on which is fixed a handlebar (2) characterized in that 2 fasteners (3) positioned on the board drive by an axis (5 ) movable pads (4) fixed under the board horizontally from left to right and vice versa around this axis. 2) Machine according to claim 1 characterized in that the axis of rotation (5) connecting the shoe to the binding is perpendicular to the plane of the board. 3) Machine according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the handlebars (2) will be articulated from front to rear. 4) Machine according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that protective plates (8 and 7) will be placed on the one hand on the board, between the sole of the binding and the board and on the other hand under the board between it and the skate. 5) Machine according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the set of fasteners / pads can be positioned at the rear of the board. 6) Machine according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that the handlebars once folded may include a locking system.
