Abstract

The invention concerns a method for organising messages or self-directed formatting based on index character alphabets or the like. The index characters are often graphic characters (sometimes sonic) which can encode 256 different symbols, reserved ASCII characters, or matches consisting of specific escape sequences or still descriptions of graphic symbols using several octets. Said characters or equivalent, enable to indicate clearly the meaning of elements of information which are associated with them and the composition rules. The aim is to produce specific information zones or fields which are operable independently of their positions in the message without defining pre-established formats. That feature eliminates the need for defining and stating the structure of the message composition, prior to the production and operation as is usually required. The thus formatted message consists of two main parts: the heading and the body. The heading indicates the characteristics of the body of the message and its operational characteristics. It is adapted to the field of application and enables, in particular, to implement security procedures for the information of the message. For short messages the header can encapsulate the message. Said subset can be embedded in a wider set which it completes (or makes secure). The FORMATDOTE process accelerates and makes secure processing operations and enables to reduce operational costs.
