Abstract

The collector consists of a metal, wood or plastic bellshaped body (7) with an inner gripping surface (8) and a sliding magnet (4) fastened to the threaded end of a rod (1) which has a stop (5) on its upper end and a hole through it for a cord (2) with a ring (6) on its free end. When the bell is dropped over a steel ball the latter is attracted to the magnet, which holds it in place while the bell is lifted by the cord.
