Abstract

The briefcase (1) containing rows of bank notes (18) is fitted with coloring dispersal nozzles (11). The carrying handle (2) has security equipment installed in it. The manual control (3) activates a mechanism which releases the coloring (9) pressurized by CO2 (7), the coloring being projected between the notes by the nozzles.

-] 1- The present invention consists of a device capable of neutralizing

tickets from

  bank or other documents stored in a suitcase during transport.

  This system of neutralization of values by spraying dye can be activated at any time by the carrier of this suitcase at the slightest attempt at aggression. CIT staff risk their lives during these operations. The purpose of this invention is to suppress these attacks on these

  people, making the unusable money carried in these suitcases.

  The device of this invention consists of a suitcase transported at arm's length by a handle in which is housed the control of the device for neutralizing the values contained in this suitcase. The person carrying this suitcase can at any time, in the event of an assault, trigger the device which

  will release an indelible and identifiable dye on tickets.

  The handle of this suitcase has the distinction of being removable and can be placed on another suitcase or container equipped with the securing system. This allows with a single handle to have several suitcases in deposit with customers

(banks, shops, etc.).

  For this device to be most effective, the banknotes and other values stored in this suitcase must be arranged so that the jets

  dye are run up and down between tickets.

  Suitcases are equipped with a fixed handle and a removable handle

of security.

  In premises, banks, shops, during filling and transport, use the handle fixed on the suitcase, in this position the banknotes are stored flat between the partitions. The suitcase once filled with tickets on

  will fit the safety handle on the side of the case.

  The suitcase carried by this handle makes it turn a quarter of a turn

  and allows to direct the jets from bottom to top on the edge of the banknotes.

  The suitcases once stored in the armored van are connected to a

  control which replaces the manual mechanism during transport.

  This command can activate three systems: a) The safety handles remain attached to the suitcases, they are

  electrically connected to the central control in the vehicle.

  These handles are fitted with an electric striker on the C02 cartridge. b) Permanent equipment in the vehicle, identical to the handle system, with a capacity to neutralize tickets in all suitcases. The suitcases will be connected to this mechanism by a

  piping connected to the quick connector for jets located in the case.

  The safety handle is no longer on the suitcases.

  c) This third solution is a variant of the writing systems in (a) and (b). the safety handles remain on the suitcases, the central control is no longer electric as in (a) but pneumatic. The safety handles on the suitcases are connected by flexible pipes -5 to the C02 cartridge and its control mechanism permanently installed in the vehicle. The principle of neutralization of banknotes is identical to solution (a), the only difference is that the cartridge installed in the handle is temporarily replaced by the fixed installation. This installation is directly connected by a

  quick coupling on the dye cartridge.

  individually after disconnection of the electrical or pneumatic systems.

  Solution (b) the safety handles must be reconnected to the

  suitcases after disconnection from the central system.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention.

  Figure 1 shows in section the invention in the configuration of

  transport of funds between building and vehicle.

  Figure 2 shows in section the safety handle with its

mechanism detached from the case.

  Figure 3 shows one of the suitcases during filling and

  transport inside the premises.

  Figure 4 shows the rotation that the safety handle should make on

  the suitcase to stow or uncouple.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a handle (Figure 2) with its safety mechanism. This handle has the particularity of being able

  adapt to all suitcases equipped with this system.

  It consists of a carrying handle (2) in which is housed the trigger (3) which can be blocked by the security (4). The percussion device (6) of the C02 cartridge (7) is triggered either by the trigger (3) or

  remotely by an electric pulse on the striker (6).

  The connection of this remote control is made by a connection socket (5). The C02 cartridge (7) after being struck releases a high pressure gas to the cartridge containing the dye (9). This dye is propelled into the pipes (11) on which the diffusion jets are arranged: detail enlarged in (11). This dye disperses between banknotes or documents placed vertically during transport between the partitions (19)

  which serve as support for the pipes (11).

  The handle to be removable is connected by a female quick connector (12) provided with a manual unlocking (13). This system is fixed on the

  suitcase by fixings (14) which slide in lights.

  This safety handle can be fitted with a quick coupling (8) directly connected to the dye bottle (7), this remote triggering system is pneumatic. Figure 3 shows the single case (1) equipped with a carrying handle (15), a lashing plate (16) on which is positioned the male quick coupling of the piping (12bis) and the fasteners of the handle (17), the tickets are arranged flat during the filling of the bag between the

  partitions (19) supporting the pipes.

  Holes are provided to avoid overpressure (20), one of the jets of

  dye will be directed through one of these holes to see if the system has worked well.

  The case will rest on studs (21) to avoid obstructing these outlets.

Claims (8)

  1) Device for neutralizing banknotes characterized in that it consists of a mechanism housed in a removable handle (2) adapting to a suitcase (1) equipped with a receiving plate (16) on which is attached a nozzle for connecting diffusers; this handle, once connected to a suitcase makes it possible to neutralize the tickets contained in it by a manual control (3) releasing an indelible dye and identifiable by the diffusers installed in the suitcase (1), which will make the unusable tickets.   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that a simple 10. pressure of my finger on the manual control (3) housed in the handle (2) serving to transport this suitcase (1) triggers the process of releasing the dye and in that in order to avoid accidentally pressing the control (3) a safety device (4) condemns this control (3) by   outside the transfer operation.   3) Device according to claim 2, characterized in that it comprises a dye cartridge (9) releasable from the control (3) which actuates a striker (6) releasing the C02 contained in the bottle (7), this expanding gas propels the dye contained in the cartridge (9) into the diffusion pipes (11).   4) Device according to claims 1 to 3. characterized in that the suitcase   (1) is equipped with a handle (15) for transport during filling.   Once this operation has been carried out, the safety handle (2) is fitted on the receiving plate (16) on the side of the case (1). The suitcase transported by this handle (2) will position (fig. 1) the tickets (18) in a vertical position, this in order to allow the dye to be sprayed from top to bottom and   to increase the impregnation of the tickets with the dye.   ) Device according to one of claims 3 and 4 characterized in that   during transport in the armored vehicle, the handle (2) is fixed to the suitcase, the striker (6) being actuated by an electric pulse connected to the socket (5) connected by wiring to the central control of   all suitcases in the vehicle.   6) Device according to claims 3 and 4 characterized in that during the   transport in the armored vehicle, the suitcase (1) is disconnected from its safety handle (2), it is connected by flexible tubing to the quick connector (12b) to a set of C02 bottle and dye identical to the system of the safety handle (2) with capacities in proportion to the number of suitcases, this equipment remains permanently in the vehicle.   7) Device according to one of claims 3 and 4 characterized in that   during transport in the armored vehicle, the safety handle (2) 2792509   remains on the suitcase (1), the central control is no longer electric but pneumatic and the safety handle (2) is connected by a quick coupling at (8) to a flexible pipe (high pressure) to a cartridge   C02 and its fixed station trigger mechanism in the vehicle.   In this device, the C02 bottle installed in the vehicle is   directly connected to the dye cartridge (9).   8) Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that   that the handle (2) can be adapted to several types of suitcases (fig. 3) in order to allow better management of the transport of funds, this handle being connected to the suitcases equipped with the plate (16) on which the   quick coupling (12) and (12b), by locking, thanks to the fixings (17).   9) Device according to claim 8, characterized in that to unlock the assembly, the pull tab (13) releases the quick coupling (12) (see fig. 4).
