Abstract

Cover (1) comprises elongated aperture (2) situated on diameter of cover but displaced from center of cover. Slot (5) is made anywhere along aperture (2) with diameter slightly larger than collar diameter on screw eye. Description

The present invention relates to an element for a multi-housing

  uses, comprising a set of parts in thermoplastic material, allowing the establishment of electrical networks in buildings with floor, pre-slab, concrete slabs. The establishment of electrical networks uses a plurality of boxes for electrical devices connected to each other by means of center points, which determine the meeting of the various electrical circuits, their connections, their branches, as well as the joining of the conduits and pipes surrounding the electrical wires. The center points also allow, when they are embedded in a concrete slab forming

  ceiling, the installation of suspension means.

  Within the framework of a domestic electrical installation, the user mainly spreads on each floor and / or in each room of a dwelling at the level of partitions or floors, reservation pots or boxes which allow to house a set of wires or pipes with a view to their subsequent use in a wall of lesser thickness, in particular plaster or light bricks, rising or falling, and generally carried out after structural work, the latter consisting of an assembly of partitions obtained by various technologies, such as solid slabs, pre-slabs

  However, during the finishing operations, it is advisable to close the housings or the center points scattered in the installation, by covers which must in particular meet the standard NFC 15-100. In particular, this standard requires that these covers are removable (in order to possibly intervene on a connection) by a positive and voluntary action of the user (we actually want to avoid removal or

  accidental release of the cover from its housing).

  The covers known from the prior art belong to two large families:

  - on the one hand, the flat covers. They come from a single imprint mold, very economical to produce and

  made from a minimum amount of material.

  These covers have a central hole into which engages a bolt screwing at the level of the chimney

  made inside the center point or the housing.

  In this type of mounting, the immobilization of the cover on the housing is obtained thanks to the particular shape of the piton, the eye of which comes to press the cover when the piton is completely screwed into the chimney. In addition, it is expected that these covers have an eccentric hole

  for the passage of electrical wires.

  The major drawback of this type of cover lies mainly in the fact that the mounting operations are difficult. They are indeed carried out blind because the user must first introduce the finishing cover on the stud, then search for the orifice of the chimney without seeing it, since it is hidden by the cover, these operations being carried out more through a pile of wires and connections. In addition, as other major drawbacks in case of access to the wires, it is necessary to completely unscrew the peg to remove the finishing cover, this operation can be long and generally followed by a tedious resting phase which can lead to degradation of the chimney thread and therefore compromise the good behavior of the object hanging on the

  piton (this object can be a chandelier of 25 kg).

  According to a preferred embodiment, the cover 1 object of the invention comprises a disc obtained following a molding operation of a plastic material within

  of a common mold with single or multiple cavities.

  This cover 1 does not have tabs projecting perpendicularly and substantially positioned

at the ends of a diameter.

  On the other hand, according to an advantageous characteristic of the invention, this cover is provided with at least one substantially oblong orifice 2, positioned on a diameter of the cover 1. However, the oblong orifice 2 is placed in a configuration offset from the center of

cover 1.

  Advantageously, one of the ends 3, 4 of the oblong orifice 2 adjoins the center of the cover 1 (cf.

figure 4).

  According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention (cf. FIG. 6), provision is made to have at any point of the oblong orifice 2 a circular notch 5, the diameter of which will be chosen so as to be slightly greater than that of a collar 6 provided on

a peak 7.

  It is also expected that the main dimension of the oblong orifice 2 present on the cover 1 is of length greater than the diameter of the eye or

eye hook 7.

  Reference will now be made to FIGS. 7a to 7, 7c which illustrate the procedure for mounting the cover on

a housing.

  In FIG. 7a, the stud 7 is screwed into the chimney of the housing and the cover 1 is presented by making

  coincide with the opening of the oblong opening 2 with the eye or

the hook of the piton.

  Then, we cover the cover 1 on the box, taking care to bring the notch 5 of the oblong orifice 2 to the right of the collar area 6 of the stud 7 (cf. FIG. 7b), continuing the translational movement of the cover 1 in the direction of the housing, and finally (cf. FIG. 7c) when the collar 6 of the stud 7 crosses the notch, the cover 1 is given a lateral translational movement so as to bring the collar 6 of the stud 7 to- above an oblong orifice area 2 which guarantees

support for the collar 6.

  The final maintenance of the assembly is ensured by carrying out a few additional turns of screwing to the stud 7, so that the flange 6 present on the axis of the stud 7 acts as a washer on the face of the cover 1 and presses it on the housing or on the center point. Of course, the dismantling operations are carried out

reverse.

  According to another characteristic of the invention and in order to allow the passage of the electrical wires through the cover 1, there is at any point of the cover 1 a second orifice 8 of circular profile or

oblong.

  For the sake of aesthetics, the fields of the cover

have a beveled profile.

  According to a manufacturing variant, the different orifices are precut and are only uncapped in

  depending on the end use of the cover.

  The invention as described above offers multiple advantages; indeed, the cover can be produced at very reduced costs, it perfectly meets the requirements of the standard and from an aesthetic point of view, the various orifices made on the cover are

  hidden when an object is suspended.

  Obviously, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described and

  shown above, but that it encompasses all variants.

Claims (4)

  1 - Cover (1), in particular made of plastic, allowing the closure of a housing or a center point, characterized in that it comprises at least one orifice (2) substantially oblong, positioned on a diameter of the cover (1), the orifice (2) being placed in a configuration offset from the center of the cover (1). 2 - Lid according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the ends (3, 4) of the oblong orifice (2) adjoins the center of the cover (1).   3 - Lid according to one of claims 1 or 2,   characterized in that at any point in the oblong orifice (2) a circular notch (5), the diameter of which will be chosen so as to be slightly greater   to that of a flange (6) provided on a stud (7).   4 - Cover according to any one of   previous claims, characterized in that provision is made   that the main dimension of the oblong hole (2) present on the cover (1) is of length greater than the diameter   of the eye or hook area of the eyebolt (7).   - Lid according to any one of   previous claims, characterized in that the   cover (1) comprises laterally with respect to the first   orifice (2) oblong at least a second orifice (8).   6 - Cover according to any one of   previous claims, characterized in that the   holes (2, 8) of the cover (1) can be uncapped.
