Abstract

  both professionals and individuals.

  -2- The invention patent FR A 2 584 922 (Mathiot) relates to "a table for stretching the human body". This table allows the stretching of the spine and presents an original but complicated tilt variation system. Unfortunately, the patient's suspension by

  the ankles is not at all comfortable.

  Patent FR FR 2 630 910 (Breau) designates a "therapeutic treatment table. This invention also provides spinal traction. This device is

  based on a table balance principle, this balance effect is obtained by a moto-

  reducer fitted with a flywheel on which is fixed a connecting rod connected to the table. This principle, in addition to

  its expensive side, is not well suited to regular use of the device.

  The device according to the present invention overcomes all of these drawbacks by providing professionals and individuals with a natural traction table

  of the spine, economical, comfortable and requiring no medical follow-up.

  The present invention is intended for professionals because of its medical utility, it is also intended for individuals who will appreciate its therapeutic virtues, its economic aspect and its safety in use. Indeed, the regular use of the present invention is carried out in complete safety and does not require any medical follow-up since the device does not work the cervical vertebrae at any time, the handling of which is particularly delicate.

  The appended drawings illustrate, without limitation, the present invention.

  - Figure 1 designates the present invention in an intermediate position - Figure 2 designates the present invention in the folded position to facilitate storage. The present invention as shown in Figure 1, comprises a work table (1) tiltable along a transverse and horizontal axis (2) positioned at the end of a base (3) in

  view of forming a variable angle (4).

  The support support (5) consists of two tubes (6) and (7) sliding one inside the other

  with a possibility of locking, for example, by a removable adjustment pin (8).

  Thus, the more or less pronounced engagement of the tube (6) in the tube (7), makes it possible to obtain

  a more or less significant angle (4).

  A removable locking pin (9) detaches the support support (5) from the

  work plate (1), so that the angle (4) has the possibility of being equal to zero degrees.

  to hang at armpit level.

  As shown in the drawing, steps (11) brace themselves between the work plate (1), and the angles (12). Handles (13) are attached to the work surface

(1).

  The connection between the ground and the base is made by means of pads (14).

  In practice, the patient, before using the present invention, determines the angle (4), by sliding the tube (6) more or less in the tube (7). It locks the angle (4) using the adjustment pin (8).   i.e. get an angle (4) equal to zero degrees.

  The present invention comprises, according to a first characteristic: "possibility of adjustment", the present invention has means making it possible to vary the inclination of the work plate (1) relative to the base (3) along an axis of rotation (2) transverse and horizontal in order to form a variable angle (4). The angle (4) can be varied

  manually. This characteristic makes it possible to modify the intensity of the vertebral traction.

  According to a variant of the invention, not illustrated, the inclination may be achieved by means of the jack type or by a screw-nut system. These systems can increase and decrease the angle (4). They can be controlled mechanically, manually or electronically at

using a remote control.

  According to another characteristic of the invention: "possibility of hanging", the present invention has means enabling the patient to be able to suspend himself. These means may be composed of suspension straps (10) allowing the patient to be suspended at the armpits. These suspension straps (10) are adjustable transversely and in length, they can be attached and detached, using, for example, crd'a carabiner, to facilitate their implementation. This characteristic has the fundamental advantage -4- of being absolutely safe, of being comfortable, and of requiring no follow-up

  medical, since the cervical vertebrae will not work.

  According to another characteristic of the invention: "possibility of locking", the present invention has means for selecting and locking the angle (4). These means are constituted by means of the support support (5), composed of two tubes (6) and (7) pierced from side to side and sliding one inside the other, locking the two tubes (6 ) and (7) can be done using a removable adjustment pin (8). This characteristic

  is important insofar as it will ensure the safe use of the device.

  According to another characteristic of the invention: "possibility of storage", the present invention has means allowing the angle (4) to have a value of zero degrees. These means can be constituted by the detachment of the support support (5), the work plate (1). A removable hooking pin (9) allows the support support (5) to be locked with the work plate (1). This characteristic has the advantage of

  reduce the size of the present invention to facilitate its storage.

  According to another characteristic of the invention: "possibility of assistance in use", the present invention has handles (13) and steps (11) allowing the present invention to be used easily. The steps will come to brace between the work plate (1) and the angles (12), this principle will allow them to be removable and adjustable. These steps (11) will be constituted by way of nonlimiting example, by a bent tube

  on which will be placed a support plate.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, "Possibility of sliding", the present invention has an ergonomic work platform (1) having the particularity of promoting sliding as much as possible. It may in whole or in part, be fitted with a coating commonly used in the medical field, necessary for comfort,

hygiene and maintenance.

  According to a variant of the invention, not illustrated, the work plate (1) may have

  an ergonomic shape matching the shapes of the patient's body.

  -5- According to another characteristic of the invention: "overall stability", the present invention has a base (3) which will be constituted by way of nonlimiting example, of two spacer tubes by a cross on which will rest the support support (5). At the other end of the base is an axis (2) allowing the rotation of the work plate (1) relative to the base (3). According to a variant of the invention, not illustrated, the base (3) can be foldable,

removable or telescopic.

  This device will be made from appropriate materials.

  This invention, by its usefulness, the extent of the population likely to be interested, its ease of realization and its economic aspect, presents industrial applications. The device according to the invention is particularly suitable for progressive and natural traction of the spine. The present invention can also be used by the patient for the purpose of relaxation or for performing different types of exercises: exercises

softening or other.

Natural traction table of the spine, of the type comprising a work plate (1) and a base (3) forming a variable angle making it possible to modify the intensity of the vertebral traction, characterized in that, the base ( 3) has at its end a horizontal and transverse axis (2) allowing the formation of a variable angle (4) with the work plate (1), the variation of the angle (4) taking place   manually or by a means such as a jack or screw-nut system.   2. Natural traction table for the spine according to claim 1, characterized in that, the device comprises suspension straps (10) fixed on the work plate (1) allowing the patient to be suspended at the level of the armpits, said suspension straps (10) being adjustable transversely and in length, and being able to attach and detach, for example using a carabiner,   in order to facilitate their installation.   3. Natural traction table of the spine according to claim 1, characterized in that, the means making it possible to select and lock the angle (4) are formed by means of the support support (5), composed of two tubes (6) and (7) pierced from side to side and sliding one inside the other, locking the two   tubes (6) and (7) can be done using a removable adjustment pin (8).   4.
