Abstract

The first dialed number selects a different private telephone operator to the standard, allowing cheaper rate calls. The telephone operator selection system is an electronics box unit placed between the telephone line and the telephone handset. When a selected first number e.g. zero is dialed, the electronics box recognizes the signal and the private operator line is selected for dialing out.

Description

-1 - The new provision for private telephone operators in France

  since the beginning of 1998 led me to deposit the following idea and invention. The legislation with regard to private operators allows them to change the first digit of the telephone numbering which is zero by modifying it by a digit from one to nine depending on the designated and desired operator. This authorizes these private operators to apply preferential rates on

telephone communications.

  The device consists in transforming by computer and electronics the first digit of the telephone numbering, the zero, by a digit from one to

  nine designating the private operator and corresponding to the desired operator.

  For individuals, the electronic system is installed in a standard male / female telephone jack box connecting between the telephone wall jack and the male plug of the telephone handset, therefore without

installation.

  For businesses, the entire electronic system is installed in a box between the arrival of the telephone line and the departure of the switchboard

private telephone.

  The goal is to have communications billed directly by the desired private operator while continuing to dial the first zero of the

  desired telephone numbering.

  By extension, the system is also applicable directly in the software of portable devices and in certain telephone switchboards

  with computer software.

  1) Device ensuring the telephone subscriber automatic passage   by the desired figure (from one to nine) without physical and intellectual constraints.   2) Device according to claim (1) characterized by the continuity of dialing zero telephone dialing by any user.   3) Device according to any one of the preceding claims   characterized by the assurance of the economy of the consumer price of the telephone communication.   4) Device according to claim (3) characterized by the guarantee of a billing of telephone consumption only from   private telephone operators.   ) Device according to any one of the preceding claims,   characterized in that the device does not involve any particular installation.   6) Device according to claim (5) characterized in that no costs of   Commissioning is only due by the private subscriber.   7) Device according to any one of the preceding claims,   characterized by the installation of the device on each telephone socket   having a telephone handset.
