  The movable and foldable edge 14 can be slid horizontally between the ends below the drawer 18, so that it can be extracted in order to access it as well when the movable edge 14 is in the vertical position and raised as when folded horizontally and slid under the cot. For the guide of such a movable edge 14, each angle post concerned 12 is provided with a vertical groove 12 'in which slides a projection 14a fixed to the edge itself. To slide the movable and folding edge 14 under the small bed, or below the drawer 18, horizontal guide grooves 20 are provided in the lower internal part of the end edges 13 or on small crosspieces to be fixed between the corner posts. Small baby bed comprising a frame (11) with four corner posts (12), a mattress support plane, two end edges (13) and two side edges (14, 14 '), at least of which one is positioned vertically along the uprights and folds horizontally below the mattress support plane, in which, for guiding and positioning the movable lateral edge (14), each upright (12) is provided with a vertical groove (12 ') provided with placement holes on its bottom, and in which, to allow the horizontal folding, if necessary, of said movable edge (14) are provided horizontal grooves at the base of the end edges between the corner uprights, characterized in that said mattress support plane is constituted by a removable panel (15) resting on side rails (16), fixed between the corner uprights parallel to the lateral edges and on fixed crosspieces (17) between the   corner posts parallel to the end edges.   2. Small baby bed according to claim 1, characterized in that, below said panel (15) is provided at least one drawer (18) removable horizontally from the part of the movable edge (14), as well when this- this is in the vertical position only when it is in folded horizontally.   3. Small baby bed according to claim 2, characterized in that said drawer is mounted and guided along the crosspieces (17) on which rests the mattress support panel (15), the movable edge, when it is   foldable, running horizontally below the drawer.
