Abstract

The mechanism has items stacked on slope with variable inclination and with electromagnet operating arm to lift item over stop at end of slope, to provide delivery of items for vending machines. The distribution mechanism has items held on a sloping surface with a 'L'-shaped stop at the bottom of the slope. An arm passes through a slot in the bottom of the slope, and is rotated by an electromagnet between a position where it is below the slope and a position where it lifts the item over the lip at the end of the slope, so the item can slide to the collection point.

The present invention relates to a device, intended to contain and deliver objects, on command of an electronic assembly ensuring management. Current automatic distribution systems use, to our knowledge, drums, baskets, worms, drawers, but none uses inclined slides according to the characteristics of the products which can range from 20 to 90 degrees relative to the 'horizontal.

The advantages of this technique are multiple, especially in the distribution of compact discs, among others, allowing them to move by gravity and position themselves naturally to be ejected towards the transit mouth of the device, on order of the electronic assembly. By using gravity to allow the product to move to get into position to be released, the risk exists that two or three units of the same product are ejected at the same time, the present invention provides a solution to the problem by its self mechanism -blocking.

The particularity of the invention is constituted by a slide of variable size and inclination, depending on the product, characterized at the end of its travel, by a device in the form of a rocker and actuated by an electromagnet.

(Fig. 1). At the end of the slide travel, the rocker lifts the object in contact (Fig. 2) and it slides by gravity towards the exit, the stop "c" no longer holding it. At this moment the object "b" in turn slides towards the stop "c" but, the thrust exerted by the other products makes it gain speed and risks passing in force over the stop "c" delivering two or three products at a time.

To overcome this problem, one of the peculiarities of the invention is to make the rocker "d" pause for a few seconds, in the high position (Fig. 3) to retain the next product, and, by its shape in the "L" position, hold the next product and prevent it from falling at the same time as the previous product.

The slides, by their shape and their mechanisms, constitute individual assemblies that can be stacked at will to build machines of variable sizes according to needs.

An additional possibility, according to FIG. 4, characterized by the use of a through electromagnet, makes the rocker "d" pivot, at the same time as a mechanism "e" pivots and pushes, against the wall of the slide , the product "b" preventing it from sliding at the same time as the product 11a ". At the end of the time delay the rocker" d "returns to its initial position and the product" b "slides naturally and takes the position of the product "a" to restart the cycle (Fig. 5).
