Abstract

Ultrasound-conducting gel with antimicrobial activity comprises (by weight) 0.06-2% antiseptic, 0.33-1.33% Carbopol 940, 0.33-1.33% glycerol, 0.03-0.33% formaldehyde, 0.33-1.33% triethanolamine and a trace amount of Patent blue, the balance being water. The antiseptic is a 20% chlorohexidine solution. The composition is prepared by adding 50-200 g Carbopol 940 to 10-20 L distilled water while stirring, allowing the mixture to stand, for between 30 minutes and upto several hours, adding a few drops of Patent blue, 50-200 g glycerol and 5-50 ml formaldehyde, adding 10-250 ml of 20% chlorhexidine solution and 50-200 g triethanolamine, and sterilising the product at 50-200 deg C, preferably at 115-116 deg C for 30 minutes or at 121-123 deg C for 15 minutes.

entamée même si elle n'a pas été totalement utilisée,
-utiliser du gel stérile en conditionnement individuel dans 5 cas
-existence d'une cicatrice opératoire récente
-plaie cutanée
-échographie per opératoire
-ponction et ou biopsie
-examen endovaginal ou endorectal.

Afin de répondre au problème, un nouveau gel a été inventé qui
présente une conservation anti microbienne satisfaisante.

Ce nouveau gel ,grâce à ces propriétes antimicrobiennes permet une
utilisation du gel sans changement par rapport à ce qui se faisait
auparavant; donc:

-inocuité antiseptique permettant d'éliminer tout risque
de dermatoses infectieuses;
-conditionnement possible en bidons d'ou économie
d'utilisation et inutilité de jeter le surplus de gel en fin de journée;
-inutilité de désinfecter systématiquement la sonde;
-de plus ce gel n'altère pas la conduction et n'abime pas
les sondes.
