The ends of the wooden rods are rounded into a hemisphere and have a weakened peripheral precut in one or several places.

La présente invention concerne les bâtonnets ronds en buis, utilisés notamment en agro-alimentaire (brochettes, sucreries, crème glacée, etc ...) et dont l'utilisation peut s'avérer dangereuse dans certaines conditions particulières. The present invention relates to round boxwood sticks, used in particular in the food industry (skewers, sweets, ice cream, etc.) and the use of which can prove dangerous under certain particular conditions.

Historiquement et jusqu'à ce jour, les bâtonnets ayant cette utilisation alimentaire ont leurs extrémités coupés perpendiculairement à la longueur (fig. 1, angle a = 90 ). La coupe est franche et source d'inconfort voire de blessures légères pour le consommateur. Dans certains cas, les bâtonnets sont pointés (fig. 2, angle b) ou encore chanfreinés (fig. 3, angle c) pour leur permettre d'avoir une meilleure pénétration dans les aliments à maintenir: viande, glace, poissons, sucreries, etc ... Les dangers pour le consommateur sont alors exponentiels. Tous les ans, plusieurs dizaines d'accidents plus ou moins graves sont à déplorer avec des pénétrations de palais et autres traumatismes buccaux survenus lors de chutes ou chocs. Historically and to this day, sticks with this food use have their ends cut perpendicular to the length (fig. 1, angle a = 90). La solution technique trouvée et faisant l'objet du brevet se fait en deux étapes:
1. Arrondir les extrémités des bâtonnets afin d'éviter l'existence de toute zone agressive caractérisée par des angles d'attaque en cas de chute (fig. 1. 2. 3.). Pour ce faire, I'invention consiste à réaliser une demC sphère aux extrémités des bâtonnets (fig. 4).

Si on réalise une prédécoupe du bâtonnet en un point de la périphérie (fig. 5) la cassure en cas de chute est dangereuse (fig. 6, angle d) car on crée artificiellement des échardes. La fragilisation du bâtonnet n'apporte alors aucune sécurité. 2. Cette prédécoupe périphérique peut se faire grâce à un outil pem7ettant là encore l'obtention d'un arrondi en cas de cassure (fig. 9) et donc un confort et une sécurité maximum. Cette opération peut aussi être multipliée en plusieurs points du bâtonnet (fig. 10) pour obtenir une cascade de cassures non dangereuses en cas de chutes (fig.l i).
