Abstract

The child seat has a base (6) in contact with the vehicle seat, and has a seat (2) and back section (3). The angle of the seat w.r.t the base can be adjusted. The seat section is hinged to the base about a horizontal axis (7) adjacent to its rear edge. A lever (13) is located on the front edge of the base which is covered by the front of the seat section. The lever can be located in various vertical locations in the front edge to provide different angles of inclination for the seat w.r.t the base.
