Abstract

The carrier frame has a waistcoat (1) with a large pocket (5) formed in its back to receive a metal support frame (6) of inverted U-shape which extends as high as the users head. There is a hook extending for the height of the support (7) to allow suspension of the perfusion bottle in an air chamber. The waistcoat is closed by hooked pile fastener strips (2). A strap (3) at waist level is provided to stabilise the support. There can be two straps for each shoulder and further straps for the side and chest.

Description

 Device for suspending the infusions, in a hospital environment or at home, allowing the patient to move around without having the constraint of rolling the serum feet existing to date.

 Model 1/6: mixed-fabric vest (1), very crossed, closed by three hook-and-loop straps (2) across the width.

 A strap sewn in the back (3), waist level, is closed on the front with a buckle (4).

 The back has on the side a large pocket of 46 X 20 cm (5), opening on the top, in which is slipped an inverted U of 76 X 18.4 cm (6) in metal of 26m X 0.03.

 On the top of the U in the center, is welded a hook (7) inclined on the outside of the garment; this hook allows you to hang the infusion bag.

 The pocket may be either on the left or on the right, depending on the perfused member, but for the convenience of medical personnel, two pockets will be provided when the garment is manufactured.

 Likewise for the attachment of the perfusion which is done on the back side, it may be reversed and look sideways - to allow the patient to sit - which would give as vision the idea of a parrot placed on a shoulder.

 Depending on the trauma of the patient, the vest will have an opening on the side, either on the left or on the right, keeping 1 opening from the front, or both sides will be open; the waistcoat will then be put on by the head - or an opening on the back side with a holding strap fixed in front or a cross closure like apron dresses.

 Large armholes facilitate the passage of the infusion.

 The metal part will be made of light alloy or any other light and solid material. Its U shape can be modified - closed at the bottom or full from top to bottom or only on a part; this full part may be openwork, like a grid.

 The closure of the vest can be replaced by buttons, snaps, as well as the loop of the strap will be what will ensure a better light and solid closure at the choice of the manufacturer.

There are telescopic rods in the hospital environment on which the infusions are suspended. To allow their use, one can provide an additional crossbar - pocket level - on which would be fixed a ring in the same axis another ring would be fixed on the upper bar. It would then suffice to intro there
Duct the telescopic rod which would have the advantage of raising the height of the infusion.

 The infusion bag should be put in an air pocket to compress the liquid and thus compensate for the lack of height.

An elastic band, like a headband, keeps the infusion against the support (30).

 Model 2/6: variant with leather straps or plastic bands (8). For convenience, only the term strap will be used.

 The straps (about 4 cm wide) follow the body like a garment.

 Two side straps spaced about 12 cm apart go from the front waist to the back waist passing over the shoulder (4) where they are held together by a sewn strap (9).

 Three horizontal straps (10) at waist level, rib level, chest level are sewn or fixed at the intersections. Their closure will be as described in model A (4).

 The four back straps are extended by 40 cm, turned over and stitched on the back straps; thus making a sheath in which the bars of the U described in A.

For this model, the width of the U is reduced to around 12 cm (11).

 Model 3/6: molded hull (12) forming an inclined bridge 15 cm wide. This bridge is placed on the shoulder, a shoulder pad (13) fixed with self-gripping keeps it straight and protects the shoulder, it descends to the waist by tilting towards the middle of the body on the face side, towards the middle of the body on the back side.

 This shell is made of plastic or other light and solid material ensuring healthy use for the patient and easy maintenance for hospital staff.

 While being rigid, it should keep a certain flexibility, especially on the front so as not to interfere with breathing in the lungs and digestion in the stomach.

 This shell is held on the body by a wide strap (14) of 10 cm, attached to the back and closed in front by a hook-and-loop fastener the width of the strap and overlapping by at least 15 cm.

The infusion stand described in A stops at mid-back, it is fixed by 4 rivets (15) on each bar of the U. Its width will be that of the model
B (11) - 12 cm.

 4/6 model: backpack type. Two straps of about 4 cm (15) pass over each shoulder and go from the waist level in front to the waist level back.

 The ends (17) are folded over 6 cm and sewn to form a loop in which a strap (18) slides closing on the front with a loop (4).

 A part of thick or quilted fabric (19) is sewn on the two straps on the back side, it goes about ten centimeters below the neck, to the bottom of the straps. It has a pocket (5) in the center as in model A.

Another strap (20) reinforces stability and slides in 6 cm loops (21) sewn at chest level on the four side straps.

 The rigid part (4) supporting the infusion will be as in model A slipped into the pocket.

 The advantage of this model is the possibility of having a higher infusion height than other models.

 Later, when it is found possible to infuse without the obligation to have a higher infusion bag than the perfused member, this very practical model can be used without support with the infusion held in the back.

 Model 5/6: helmet (22) made of a circle (23) of about 19 cm in diameter made of 5 mm mild steel wire, on which are welded two arches (24) of the same material crossing at their center , about 25 cm high.

 The circular part is covered with a rubberized foam (25) 4 cm in diameter.

 This foam is split up to its center in order to be able to fgt CO h s and remove at will (this system for protection or insulation).

 Two strap tabs hold it on the circle with two snaps (27) and end with a loop for closing under the chin (28).

At the intersection of the arches, on top, is welded a large ring (29) to allow the helmet to be hung.

 Below a hook (7) like a carabiner is attached to hang the infusion.

 This helmet is mainly intended for children. Many bright colors should be used (green, red, blue, yellow ...).

 Do not hesitate to add antennas to accentuate the extra-terrestrial aspect, this will help the child to accept this constraint more.

 Model 6/6: this model inspired by the backpack model brings a modification in terms of its construction and support.

 On the back, a padded part (31) 25 cm wide by 35 cm high approximately is held on the body by two straps (32), sewn on the top at one centimeter from the edge. These two straps pass over each shoulder and stop at waist level, ending with an inverted part of 6 cm (17) forming passers-by.

 Two other straps (33) sewn on each side at the bottom close on the front after being slipped into the loops of the two side straps.

 A large pocket (34) measuring 25 cm X 27 cm is applied to this padded part; this pocket will contain the infusion holder (35).

This pocket will be 25 cm wide and a height exceeding the head by at least 10 cm, always within the limit of imbalance. The upper transverse bar will be notched with six slots (36) in which four mobile hooks (37) will be clamped, allowing the infusions to be moved without any difficulty.

 If the support chosen is the inverted U, an additional seam (38) will be made to hold the bars of the U.

 Middle back, chest level, a strap is securely attached to the pocket and the padded part. It comes to close on the front after having been slipped into 6 cm loops (21) sewn on the two front side straps.

 If the half-full support is chosen, this strap will be held by three loops (40) sewn on the pocket (one in the center and one on each side).

 On the two side straps, front side slightly below the shoulder, an adjustment system (41) for the height of the strap will be fitted, which will allow this model to be adapted to patients of different sizes.

FURTHER INFORMATION
The dimensions indicated in all models correspond to an average size, provide smaller or larger depending on the size of the patient.

 The materials used are left to the choice of the manufacturer, but the main criterion will be the healthy side. When a natural fiber can make the same use as a synthetic, it will be chosen preferably. The rigid parts of the support will be made of a light, non-allergenic material and easy to clean.

 The hooks will be closed like a carabiner.

 The closure buckles will be easy to use and secure.

 the infusion bags will be put in an air pocket in all models.

 The elastic band holding the infusion against the support is also used in all models.

 Sometimes two products are infused; for this, provide an additional hook on each side of the central hook. The central hook must be kept so as not to balance the support if only one infusion is used.

 The infusion supports can be raised to the limit of imbalance.

 Models 2/6 - 3/6 - 4/6 - 6/6 arrive at the waist, in order to bring more balance to the support} They can descend to the gluteus, but without disturbing the seat of the sick.

 A mixture of the characteristics of each model can be done to create a new model.

Claims (6)

 1) Device allowing the patient to carry his perfusion liquid on himself, thus making his movements easier. Characterized by a vest (1) with a large pocket (5) in the back in which a metal support (6) is slipped in the shape of an inverted U and reaching the height of the head. On the top of this support is welded a hook (7) which allows to suspend the infusion put in an air bag. This vest is closed with hook-and-loop strips (2). A waist level strap and closing on the front strengthens the support balance.  2) Device according to claim 1, characterized by its harness shape, made of straps (8) in which thread the back side of the support bars described in 1. Two straps on each shoulder (9) go from the front size to the back waist. Three straps (10) on the waist, sides and chest and closing on the front hold the infusion stand.  3) Device according to claim 1, characterized by its bridge shape and its plastic-like material (12). This shell passes over the shoulder to reach each side at waist level. On the back is fixed the infusion holder, a wide strap (14) keeps everything against the body at the waist.  4) Device according to claim 1, characterized by its backpack shape. As with the backpack, two straps (15) hold the rear part, pass over the shoulders and serve as loops (17) for the waist strap. In the center, the rear part (19) has a large pocket (5) in which the infusion stand (6) is fixed. A chest level strap (20) strengthens the balance of the support.  5) Device allowing the patient to transport his liquid for infusion, characterized by its helmet appearance (22) on a mild steel head circumference (23) covered with foam are welded two poles (24) of 25 cm in height under which is suspended the infusion. Two strap tabs (26) surround the foam at the ear level and close under the chin (28). Designed for children, bright colors are recommended.  6) Device according to claim 1, characterized by its backpack shape. A padded part (31) is provided with a large pocket in which is slipped an infusion stand (35) 24 cm wide and the height of which exceeds the head. This back part is held on the body by two lateral straps (32) and two horizontal straps (33). The side straps are adjustable in height (41).
