Abstract

The storage device is constructed on a rigid frame (10), which is arranged under the vehicle seat (3), particularly a front seat. The frame is mounted so as to pivot around an axis (XX), which is fixed to the lower face (4) of the seat, and is fixed to be roughly parallel to the front (18) and rear (17) edges of the seat. A flexible piece of material (21) is fitted on to the frame. The free end (14) of the frame is able to be fixed in two positions, by means of the primary anchor point (22), which is fixed to the lower face of the seat, and which holds the frame in its upper position. The secondary anchor point (26) is fixed to the floor (S) of the vehicle and is designed to secure the frame in its lower position.
