Abstract

The fishing device consists of the body of lure, of the type, known as "turluttes" for catching cephalopods. The novel element of the patent is the application of several of the cutting metallic points, which are fitted into the body of the lure and are inclined towards the head of the lure. The points may be fitted to the body of the lure, in any of a variety of positions, either dorsally, ventrally, longitudinally, laterally or in all of these places. The points may be fitted to the lures or to artificial baits and are designed to give a better anchorage into the tentacles of the cephalopod.
