Abstract

A sealed closure for a garment worn e.g. to give protection against cold, heat or water, consists of a sleeve (3) which projects from an aperture (2) at the front of the garment after it has been put on. The garment is sealed with the aid of a strap (6) passed through diametrically opposite slits in the end of the sleeve, rolling the sleeve round the strap and fastening it round the abdomen of the wearer, either with self-adhesive fastenings of hook and loop pile fabric, or by passing the ends of the strap round the wearer's body and fastening them at the front.
