Abstract

The resilient ground covering has a flat piece of moulded resilient material (1) with several cavities (2) which are open in their upper part and closed in their lower part by a cover (5). The lower face of this flat piece has several ground support parts constituted by protuberances (6). The cavities are closed by rigid caps (7) with anti-skid reliefs (8) which extend into the plane of the piece upper face. Each of the ground support parts is located at the centre of a corresponding cover so that the cover ensures elastic deformable suspension of the flat piece. The support part is free to adapt to the nature of the constraints exerted on the flat piece. The cavities have a cylindrical wall (3) with an annular groove (4) in its upper part. The cap in the form of a disc whose lower face has a cylindrical skirt (9) provided with an annular strip (10) which engages in the groove when the cap is clipped into the cavity.
