Abstract

The trimming bench is constructed to have a mobile square plate (1), which is able to move against a fixed plate (2). The fixed plate is fitted with a horizontal line (3), a graduated scale (4), two parallel and vertical rails (5), a vertical groove (6), to accommodate the displacement of the mobile plate locking screw (7), and to accommodate the locking nut, which acts against the internal face of the groove. In addition, a horizontal blocking strip (8), forming part of the handle (9) is fixed to the back of the fixed strip with two vertical blocking strips to allow for the free movement of the back end of the locking screw. The mobile square plate is displaced vertically along the vertical rails of the fixed plate and is locked in the required position by the locking screw to give a square cutting edge.
