Abstract

The packaging allows manual or automatic expulsion of liquids or pastes without the use of air or gases. It is composed of one or more bellows (1) which can be compressed under the effect of a force. The bellows are closed at their ends by a rigid plate (2). The packaging also has, under its base, two tabs or overhanging stabilisers (3) which maintain the packaging in equilibrium after being compressed, The compression can be effected either manually or automatically with the aid of compressing parts such as elastic, springs, metal tongues etc. In the packaging upper part is an outlet hole extended by a dispensing cap composed of two containers fitting and sealed into each other. These containers each have two outlet orifices. A dispensing mouth extends the upper container. A spring returns the retractable part of the dispensing cap into its initial position.

Description

SELF-COMPACTING PACKAGING,
MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC EXPULSION
VARIOUS PRODUCTS: LIQUIDS, SEMI-LIQUIDS OR PASTY,
WITHOUT AIR INTAKE, OR ADDITION OF GAS
The present invention relates to a self-compacting packaging, with manual or automatic expulsion, of various products: liquids, semi-liquids or pasty, without return of air, or addition of gas; can be used in fields as varied as: agrifood, cosmetology, hygiene, household products, hydrocarbons, or any other product to be stored away from air.

Such products can be dispensed with or without spraying.

 Up to now, the numerous packagings that we are offered on the market, require the manual opening of an evacuation orifice, and the pouring, always manual by tilting, of the product (s), into a receptacle chosen for this purpose. , (glass, pan, etc.); thereby necessitating useless, but nevertheless obligatory gestures.

 Many technical and even aesthetic improvements have been made in recent years to the various existing packaging, aimed at improving its specific characteristics: materials, shapes, propulsion, etc. However, all of these modifications and improvements do not provide significant answers to the problem of the spillage of liquid, semi-liquid or pasty products.

 On the basis of these findings, the plaintiff, in this case myself; has imagined a new type of self-compacting packaging, with manual or automatic expulsion.

This type of self-compacting packaging, with manual or automatic expulsion, consists of:
- one or more bellows (accordion style), round, rectangular, square, or any other shape, made from materials as diverse as: cardboard, plastics, composite materials, etc .; by folding, molding, blowing, or by any other manufacturing technique. These bellows are closed at their ends by a rigid plate, allowing by pressure thereof, the deformation of said bellows, thereby exerting internal compression, having the effect and aim, the expulsion of said products, through an orifice evacuation intended for this purpose. This packaging also has under its base, two stabilizing tongues, individual, rigid and smooth, mutually parallel, one of their ends being integral with the bottom of one of the compression plates of said packaging, then that the two other ends of these remain free, so that the edges of said bellows can circulate as on rails, during the compression of the above packaging, thus ensuring the perfect stability of the latter. In another case, said tabs can be replaced by stabilizing overflows, always parallel to each other, extending the compressor plates in their lower parts, thereby ensuring the desired stability.

 The pressure exerted to compress and, therefore, to expel the various products from said packaging, can be done in two different ways: either by manual pressure, or by automatic pressure.

 In the case of manual pressure, it suffices to exert, in opposition, pressure with the hands, or the fingers, on one or on the two compression plates of said package, so as to expel, by deformation and compression thereof. ci, the said product or products, which it contains, via a discharge orifice intended for this purpose.

 In the second case, that is to say so that the expulsion of the product (s) can be done automatically, the compression necessary for their expulsion can be achieved, either through an elastic band surrounding and compressing in the direction of its width, or its height, said packaging, in a groove reserved for this purpose, so that the above elastic does not slip; either by any other compression means: spring, metal tongue, etc.

 For the distribution of said products, it can be carried out by means of a distributor cap, which consists of two receptacles which fit into one another, with a reciprocal and total seal, and each having two orifices for evacuation. To release the content or contents of said packaging, it suffices to press one of the edges of the receptacle to be filled (glass, pan, etc.) on the retractable part of said dispenser cap, while exerting an upward pressure; this maneuver having for purpose and for effect, the comparison of the four evacuating orifices of said distributor cap, thereby releasing the flow of the product or products to be dispensed.

 In a second case, it is also possible to release the flow rate of said product to be dispensed, by exerting an opposite pressure between the thumb and forefinger, on the lower and upper part of said distributor cap, this maneuver, acting as before, on the comparison of the four outlet orifices of the aforesaid plug-distributor.

 In certain cases, for example such as in manual compression, the stopper distributor of said packaging can be placed, for more convenience, in a different position (see fig.l), this position then allows the commissioning of said plug. -distributor, by exerting a pressure, such as that exerted on a trigger of pistol.

 When the pressure of the receptacle, or the digital pressure, is released, the retractable part of the distributor cap, returns to its initial place, thanks to a spring located at the top of it; this replacement again obstructs, therefore, automatically, the outlets of the aforementioned plug-distributor.

In other particular embodiments, the packaging may include:
- A handle, integral with said packaging, providing a better grip of it (Plate 5 - Drawing A).

 - The spout of the dispenser cap can be swiveled and built-in.

 - A support box, made of plastic (Plate 5 - Drawing B), used to hold the upper part of said packaging, which can therefore compress itself upwards, by means of elastic compression.

This principle allows the elimination of stabilizing tongues or stabilizing overflows, since the aforesaid packaging is not based on any basis.

 - A support, made of metal rods (Plate 5 - Drawing C), with a compressor element at its end. This support, like the one mentioned above, could be bought once and for all. We could also market separately, the bouchondistributeur, so that said packaging can be offered to consumers without any price increase, directly linked to the manufacture of the above packaging. All these arrangements, being of course previously studied.

This type of packaging, the main principles of which we have just detailed, highlights seven substantial advantages compared to already existing packaging; advantages that I allow myself to quote for information:
1 ") Possibility of serving the said product or products, without leaving its place of storage, (reEngator, shelf, cupboard, etc.), said packaging.

 2 ") This type of conditioning requires no muscular lifting force.

 3) The content thereof is distributed continuously, since we have no air intake, but constant compression of said packaging.

 4) There is no longer any need to remove or replace any sealing elements (capsule, plug, etc.).

 5) This type of packaging allows you to "drink from the neck", without having to lift your head, to pass the liquid through the mouth.

 6) Total hygiene, linked to the fact that there is no air penetration in said packaging, the opening and closing system of the dispenser cap being done with consistency of product, filling all of the receptacles with distribution, thereby preventing any penetration of air into the above packaging. Another hygienic advantage of the invention is that this type of packaging does not require any manual intervention, to remove or replace any shutter elements, (plug, capsule, etc.), since the opening or closing of the distributor cap, is done automatically, by simply pressing the retractable receptacle of the above distributor cap.

 7) The last advantage of this type of packaging, and which is not the least, is that when the content thereof has been dispensed, said packaging is completely and automatically compacted, due to the compression exerted by the elastic compressor; which therefore considerably reduces the volume of our waste.

 Although the main aspects of the invention, considered to be new, have been expressed; further details, designing a preferred embodiment, respecting the fundamental concepts of the invention, will be better understood, with reference to the description below, and to the accompanying drawings, illustrating this embodiment.

 As illustrated in the drawings, said packaging consists of: one or more bellows (accordion style) (1), made of materials as diverse as cardboard, plastics, composite materials, etc .; which can be compressed by any force, and are closed at their ends by a rigid plate (2), on which a compressive force can be exerted. In its lower part, it has under its base, two stabilizing tongues, or in other cases, of figure two stabilizing overflows (3), serving to maintain the balance of said packaging, after the compression thereof. Said compression which can be carried out either manually or automatically, using a compressor element (elastic, spring, etc.) (4). Said packaging also has, in its upper part, a discharge orifice (5 ), extended by a distributor cap, which is composed of two receptacles (6-7), entering one into the other with a reciprocal and total seal, and each having two evacuating orifices (8). When a pressure is exerted on the retractable part of the aforementioned stopper distributor, the evacuation orifices are found to be opposite, thereby releasing the flow of content, which is evacuated by the dispensing spout (9). When the said pressure is released, the spring (10) returns the retractable part of the distributor cap to its initial position, thereby closing, again, the evacuation orifices.

 It is understood that the packaging, which has just been described and represented above, has been for the purpose of disclosure, rather than of limitation. Of course, various arrangements, modifications and improvements can be made, without departing from the scope of the invention, taken in its broadest aspects and spirit.

Claims (10)

 1. Self-compacting packaging, with manual or automatic expulsion of various products: liquids, semi-liquids or pasty, without air intake, or addition of gas, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, said packaging consists of one or several bellows (accordion style) (1), which can be compressed under the effect of any force. Said bellows are closed at their ends by a rigid plate (2); on which a compressive force can be exerted. It also has under its base, two tongues or two stabilizing overflows (3), serving to maintain the balance of the packaging after its compression. This compression can be carried out either manually or automatically, using elastic compressor elements, spring, metal tongue, etc. The above packaging also has, in its upper part, a discharge orifice (5), extended by a distributor cap, composed of two receptacles which fit into one another (6-7), with reciprocal and total sealing. The abovementioned receptacles each have two evacuation orifices (8). The upper receptacle is extended by a dispenser spout (9). A spring (10) is used to return the retractable part of the aforementioned plug-distributor to its initial position.  2. Packaging according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the bellows (1), can be compressed, like an accordion, under the effect of any force, exerted on the plates (2).  3. Packaging according to claims 1 and 2, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the plates (2) can withstand any pressure, in order to compress and deform said bellows (1).  4. Packaging according to claim 1, 2 or 3, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, said packaging has, under its base, two stabilizing tabs (3), one of the ends of which is fixed to one of the compressor plates (2). It can also have, in another case, two stabilizing overflows (3) fig.1, extending the above compressor plates.  5. Packaging according to any one of claims, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the aforesaid packaging, has in its upper part, an evacuation orifice (5).  6. Packaging according to claim 1, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the receptacle (6), from the distributor cap, enters the receptacle (7).  7. Packaging according to claim 6, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the receptacle (7), of the aforementioned stopper-distributor, receives in its internal part the receptacle (6).  8. Packaging according to claim 6 or 7, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the two receptacles (6 and 7), each have two evacuation orifices (8).  9. Packaging according to claim 6, 7 or 8, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, said distributor cap, has in its upper part, a distributor spout (9).  10. Packaging according to claims 6, 7, 8 and 9, CHARACTERIZED BY THE FACT THAT, the distributor cap, has in the upper part of the receptacle (7), a spring (10), serving to return the receptacle (6) to its initial position.
