Abstract

The garment consists of a pouch (2) made from a fabric or plastic material with a plastic or wire frame to control its shape, designed to fit over the genitals and connected in the middle to a waist tie (3). The latter can be equipped with front and rear flaps (5,6) of material for additional modesty. The pouch frame or surround can be semi-rigid or bent to shape after heating, or it can be made of a material which can be moulded to shape to suit the individual wearer. In addition, the front part of the waist tie can be divided into two sections, one passing through the middle of the pouch and the other through the top.

La présente invention est destinée à soutenir et à cacher l'appareil génital externe de l'homme ou de la femme,pour le con -fort et l'esthétique si c'est un sous-vêtement,pour des raisons de pudeur et de confort si c'est un vêtement d'exterieur ou de bain,pour la sécurité si c'est une protection de sport. Protéger,cacher ou soutenir les parties sexuelles mascu -lines ou féminines sont traditionnellement obtenus par le port de slips,maillot de bain ou coquille de protection.Les formes de ces slips,maillots ou coquilles varient à l'infini,mais tou -jours ils sont composés d'une ceinture entourant la taille et d'une pièce de tissu ou autre matériaux s'y rattachant devant et derrière,passant par l'entre-jambe.Pu̲r augmenter la surface de peau exposée au soleil ou à la vue,la surface de ce tissu diminue jussqu'à n'être plus au minimum qu'un cordon inter-fessier reli -ant le milieu arrière de la ceinture à la partie inférieure de la poche ou de la surface cache-sexe proprement dite:il prend alors le nom de string.L'inconvénient est le passage de ce cor -don plus ou moins large,plus ou moins tendu,plus ou moins hygié -nique,et de toute façon inconfortable pour le porteur. Une deu -xièmè façon traditionnelle de protèger des regards les organes génitaux est le port du pagne,de quelque forme ou matière qu'il soit,mais dans ce cas les parties sexuelles ne sont ni soutenues ni protégées.La combinaison des deux,slip et pagne,existe,mais nous retrouvons là l'inconvénient du slip,maillot ou string décrit plus haut. Claims
