Abstract

The individual packaging for disposable serviettes (5)consists of a flexible plastic sheet which is wound round and thermo-welded to form a tube (3). The tube is open at its two ends (4) to enable introduction of the serviette. The packaging tube has a central part (2) which is reserved for a logo or other inscription. The ends of the tube can be closed by flaps (6)which are folded over the ends. Alternatively the tube ends can be closed by thermo-welding. The tube has perforations (7) around its circumference to enable it to be opened by tearing.
