Abstract

The bedding mattress comprises an internal spring suspension (2) fixed to a frame (4). There are several parallel streams of packed helicoidal springs (3) located longitudinally in the mattress and fixed to each other by gluing. The suspension is enclosed in a non fabric covering (5,6) covered with a protection coating (8,9) on its usable surface. There is a relatively high layer of elongated flexible material having a natural rubber base in the form of a sheet located under the protection covering.   The present invention relates to a mattress for bedding with improved comfort and in particular for effectively supporting the spine of a person lying down

on this mattress.

  We know that a mattress must perfectly support the spine of a person and in particular it must marry the shape of the lumbar hollow existing between

  shoulders and gluteal area of this person.

  To fulfill this role of support and accompaniment of the natural form of the spine, a mattress must be very independent, that is to say that a local pressure on it must not lead to a significant deformation of the spine. a peripheral zone of the place where the local pressure takes place.   located between the shoulders and the gluteal area of it.

  Preferably, the layer of elastic material has a

thickness of about 0.5 x 10-3m.

  The layer of elastic material has a relative elongation greater than or equal to 600% and is fixed by gluing

  on the remaining part of the cut envelope.

  Referring to the figures, the reference 1 designates a bedding mattress comprising an internal suspension 2 with springs 3 fixed, for example by gluing, in a frame 4, in this case made of a foam material, and consisting of several parallel strings of coiled coil springs 3 arranged longitudinally to the mattress and fixed

  to each other by gluing. Such a spring suspension 3

  is known per se and does not have to be more detailed.

  The suspension 2 is enclosed in a casing made of a nonwoven material comprising an upper sheet 5 situated on the side of the use face of the mattress and a lower sheet 6 opposite the sheet 5. The sheets 5, 6, which are not elastic, are tense on frame 4 by

  collage as symbolized in 7 in Figure 2.

  The upper sheet 5 of nonwoven material is covered with a protective coating 8 which may comprise, for example, from the inside to the outside of the mattress, a lining layer, for example made of coconut felt, a layer of padding of polyether foam and a

  tick protective coating attached together to the frame 4.

  The lower ply 6 located on the unused side of the mattress 1 is also covered with a protective coating 9 which may comprise, for example, from the inside to the outside of the mattress 1, a layer of fixed coconut felt, for example by gluing, on the web 6 and a tick coating forming with the upper tick coating of the coating 8 a protective cover of the

mattress 1.

  According to the invention, the mattress 1 also comprises a layer 10 of elastic material with a high relative elongation, preferably based on natural rubber, in the form of a rectangular plate disposed under the protective coating 8 of the face of use of the mattress 1 and covering a cut-out portion or window 5a of the web of nonwoven material 5 located in an area of the mattress 1 corresponding approximately to the portion of the human body located between the shoulders and the gluteal area thereof. The layer of elastic material 10 is fixed on the corresponding part to be covered with the sheet 5 preferably by gluing as symbolized at 11 in FIG. 2. In addition, the layer 10 preferably has a thickness of approximately 0.5 × 10 -3m and has a relative elongation greater than or equal to 600% and is preferably selected from natural rubbers having

  excellent resistance to hot water up to a temperature of about 70 C so as to adapt to the different conditions of use of the mattress in terms of temperature

  and humidity levels related to the human body.

  By at least partially replacing the nonwoven web 5 in the major areas of the back and gluteal portion of the human body with the layer 10 of high relative elongation material and reduced thickness, the independence characteristic of the suspension 2 is kept in its entirety so that the mattress can effectively support including the hollow part

  lumbar between shoulder and gluteal area of the human body.

  The invention has been described with reference to a single-sided use mattress, but it is understood that it can also be applied to a two-sided returnable mattress respectively having two degrees of comfort. In such a case, the other face of use of the returnable mattress may also comprise a layer of elastic material identical to the layer 10 described above and disposed between the corresponding protective cover of the mattress cover and the corresponding sheet of non-material. woven by covering a cut or window portion of the web of nonwoven material. Claims (4)

  Bedding mattress comprising an internal suspension (2) with springs (3) fixed to or in a frame (4) and consisting of several parallel strings of coil coiled springs (3) arranged longitudinally to the mattress (1) and fixed together to the others by gluing, said suspension (2) being enclosed in an envelope of nonwoven material (5, 6) covered, at least on one side of use of the mattress (1), with a protective coating (8, 9 ), characterized in that it comprises a layer (10) of elastic material with high relative elongation, preferably based on natural rubber, in the form of a plate disposed under the protective coating (8) of the face of use   and covering a cut-out portion (5a) of the sub-envelope   jacquel (5) nonwoven material located in an area of the mattress (1) corresponding approximately to the portion of the human body located between the shoulders and the gluteal region thereof. Mattress according to claim 1, characterized in that the layer of elastic material (10) has a thickness about 0.5 x 10-3m.   Mattress according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the layer of elastic material (10) has a   relative elongation greater than or equal to 600%.   Mattress according to one of the preceding claims,   characterized in that the elastic material layer (10) is adhesively bonded to the remaining portion of the envelope cut (5) above.
