Description

The present invention relates to the assembly of a natural material, stone granite or marble, in thin thickness 10 to 40mm and of a variable thickness of concrete in order to make the natural material of thin thickness more resistant according to the desired use, in thereby forming a composite material.

The proportion of aggregates, the granulometry of the aggregates, the quality and the cement dosage of the concrete will depend on the mechanical stresses required according to the specifications of the structure to be produced with the composite material obtained by the invention.

The natural material, granite, stone or marble from deposits which are increasingly difficult to exploit, taking into account ecology and rampant urbanization, considerably increases the costs, therefore moderate use.

The invention overcomes these drawbacks, where the natural granite, stone or marble material is used in full mass. The invention makes it possible to use the natural material in thickness 3 to 10 times less, depending on the final destination of the composite product obtained for floor and wall coverings and any urban road works and construction works.

The association of granite, stone or marble and concrete material is achieved by incorporating into a vibrating mold, a thin slice of several m2, of natural material, at the bottom of the mold. The view side of the product will be against the vibrating table of the mold, the rough face receiving the desired thickness of concrete, flat or according to a preferential variant, aimed at improving the adhesion, which has to be grooved. The main purpose of these grooves obtained by sawing with suitable saw blades is to create a real surface for attaching concrete to natural material. This grooving also eliminates any risk of friction between the two different materials that are the natural product (granite, stone or marble) and concrete.

The face of the natural material will be washed of all impurities. A glue film specially adapted for bonding will be applied between the natural material and the concrete. The glue will be based on synthetic resin such as "Sikalatex" from SIKA or any other brand of similar product.

In order to obtain the best possible adhesion, the adhesive must be mixed with the concrete, during the manufacture of the latter in the proportions given by the manufacturer, taking into account the end use of the composite material thus obtained, natural stone, granite or marble, plus concrete. Thus, the glue must be applied in part by sprinkling on the rough face of the natural stone, after the grooving, sanding or sandblasting as well as the cleaning of this face are carried out. The glue is also mixed with the concrete for part of it.

Used in urban roads, there may be a risk of takeoff of the two components due to a high traffic of cars and heavy goods vehicles, either under the action of the brakes, or under the heating of the surface layer and present a risk of expansion if the bonding surface is flat and very even, even very clean and well blasted by sandblasting or other.

The grooves can be of different depths, between 3 and 10 mm and of different widths, between 5 and 10 mm. The depth-to-width ratio of the grooves will be calculated according to the end use of the composite material obtained. The space between each groove is variable, ranging from 5 to 30 mm. The final destination of use of the composite material will determine the space between each groove.

Sandblasting will be carried out before bonding in order to accentuate it.

The degree of vibration and the drying time of the concrete will depend on the total thickness thus obtained, drying being possible in suitable ovens. The shape of the molding or assembly may vary depending on the final shape of the composite material obtained, see the different figures made: Fig: 1/3 2/4 5/6 7/9 8/10.

The thickness of the natural material can vary from 10 to 40 mm. The thickness of the concrete varies according to the needs of the end use. The finish of the part or parts seen of the natural material, can be in finish: - polished, flamed, bush hammered, smilied, chiseled or any other finish traditionally given to the natural material, granite, stone or marble on the surface seen.

The invention as planned, also makes it possible to produce all molds of massive shape, in the same principle of composite material, taking example from the figures: 7/8/9/10, according to which, the adjacent lateral faces of 1 ' element are also coated with a thin layer of natural material, stone, granite or stone bonded to concrete, thereby obtaining construction elements.

This makes it possible to create column elements, by placing in a vertical mold, three or more plates of natural material, granite, stone or marble making it possible to obtain columns (fig4) with a square, rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal base, triangular or any other geometric shape. A vacuum will be left inside the post, lightening on the one hand the prefabricated post thus obtained, but also allowing during the implementation, to place a reinforcement which will be coated with concrete, thus obtaining 1 inside of the composite material, a reinforced concrete post, calculated according to the load to be supported. The different seen faces formed by the natural material, will be connected to each other by a variable thickness of concrete comprised between the raw and grooved faces, of the natural material used, a formwork forming the interior void.

The same gluing and grooving process as for the tiles will be used.

The invention thus makes it possible to create load-bearing elements for the construction of solid or hollow walls, having 2,3 or 4 faces seen in natural materials and concrete inside.

Reservations can be left there so that, during implementation, reinforced concrete can be incorporated (reinforcement + concrete poured during the implementation of the composite elements).

These elements can be of different dimensions from 20 cm to 3 in length, from 10 cm to 3 m in height, of variable thickness from 10 cm to 1 m. We thus obtain all forms of composite materials for the creation of walls, lintels, posts, covers, door and window frames, all floor elements, walls, facades for buildings and public works, urban roads. , urban planning, sidewalks, squares, furniture, but also interior decoration.
