Abstract

Cardiac information relating to the user is stored in a first module which is also capable of releasing an alarm if necessary after a comparison has been made with current cardiac data continuously generated in a second module. A third module transmits any alarm to a supervising station using either an audible signal, an optical signal, a voice or telephone line signal or a radio signal. A further module may be added which is able to add the user's geographic position to any alarm transmitted. The modules may be supplied with energy individually or as a group.
