Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the means of pi -voter up glasses of a pair of glasses.
It includes three variants, a manual, a semi-automatic, an automatic.
The device of this invention allows several applications: either to clean the glasses, or to clear the fogging of the glasses, or to remove the dark glasses from sight in the case of sunglasses (passage from the sun to the shade)
The principle of this invention FIG.1 comprises a frame (1) of normal appearance in which the two glasses (2) can pivot using pins (3) upwards. The glasses have at their ends tabs (4) which are stored in the notches (5) of the frame (1) when the glasses return to their normal position of a conventional telescope.
The frame FIG.2 (view in section AA) is open above the two glasses (2) to allow them to pi -vote on their axis (3) upwards. When the glasses come out of the frame (1) to go upwards, they rub each side on sponges or felts (13) which have the function of cleaning the glasses. These sponges or felt (13) are welded to a small frame (l2) d6- -mountable which is fixed with small screws (l4) on the mount (l) in FIG. 2 we find the cleats (4) fixed on the lenses and which fit into the notches (5) of the frame (1) and the arms (6) of the bezel appear.
FIG. 3 (section BB) We see how the sponges or felts (13) on the glass (2) work and how they are fixed to the frame (1).
FIG. 4 (section BB) We can see how it is possible to remove the sponges (13); which are welded to a frame (12); from the frame (1). This is to change them when they are worn out. This operation can be carried out after loosening the screws (14).
The different variants of this invention are three in number.
The first variant is the system to be able to re-assemble the lenses (2) manually FIG. 1 It suffices with your thumbs to raise the lenses using the cleats (4) which are in the notches (5) of the frame of read -nette (t).
The second variant FIG.5 is the semi-automatic system for winding up the glasses. This device comprises a spring (7) in a retaining sheath (9), a rod on each side fixed to the end of the glasses (8). When the lenses are in the normal position in the frame, the spring (7) will be extended in its sheath (9), but it will have no action on the lenses because the cleats (4) will be blocked in the notches (5) of the frame; to unlock them, it suffices to push upwards with the thumb the middle of the sheath (9) of the spring (7); the tabs (4) will be released from their notches (5) and the spring will contract and it will cause the glasses (2) to be raised upwards.
The third variant FIG.5 and FIG.6 is an automatic system for raising the glasses. This device comprises two pinions (10) mounted on the axes (3) of the lenses and a central pinion (11) which will be in connection with a large bar screw (FIG. 7) (15) fixed to the exterior of the frame. (1). The operation of this system will be done using the screw (15) outside, when we turn the screw (15) in one direction the glasses (2) will go up and in the other direction they will go down, because of the movement of the gears (10) and (11).
These glasses which one can call self cleaning are intended for all people; workers working with glasses; sportsmen to remove fogging from glasses during exercise; people wearing sunglasses who want to go from light to dark without leaving their glasses.
